First waitress was very nice, smiling & happy vibes. We ordered almost everything on the menu. Food is really good & cooked really well. We loved the corn, the Jamon, the steaks, the calamari. Everything was really good. Service was really bad after our waitress left. I thought she had gone for break but the waitress went home. The covering waitresses either didn't communicate properly or take notes. Venue didn't appear busy. 4 chefs in the kitchen from what I can see. After we finished a portion of our appetizers, a waitress asked if we wanted desserts but we still had 15 items to come out. She started removing our plates & cutlery & even took one of my friends plate with food still on the plate. She eventually brought it back after we called her back. I don't know what is happening with the kitchen or communication with everyone because after we had some appetizers, some mains then we got our sourdough bread. This order of food didn't make sense for me. Atmosphere was good. Nice hightop tables and enough room for all of our food. Nice music & intimate booths.

The place is great in ambient and style and they were very friendly. Service was excellent. In terms of food we took the Sunday brunch and it was quite expensive (55 per person) and it was not memorable. We are Spanish so we know what pintxo and tapa is about. The pintxos are super small bites and although tapas were not terrible in size you have to order a huge number of them to feel you have compensate the cost of the brunch. It's not a bad place to go but they are only scratching the surface of what is a Spanish real tapas and pintxos bar. Finally regarding the option of having a Vermont that is something super Spanish we were exited about the option but the amount of drink they serve is ridiculous. Vermouth is not whisky or vodka, is not a shot. Is a proper alcoholic beverage and should be served the same amount as a glass of wine. The taste was good but you will never see that in a Spanish restaurant. Overall a lot of improvement to do.

Chicha was excellent. I went here for a special date night. The food was not disappointing except for one dish which was the calamari and rice dish. The rice was very salty and the calamari was rubbery. The noise level is a little loud, but eventually it mellows out.

Great service! Food was delicious. Matt seated and served us and recommended some awesome options. GET THE CROQUETTES!!!! Will be back :)

Our service was amazing but the food was extremely overpriced. The food portions were tiny and expensive. They were nothing special. Very bland.

Food is really good. All the tapas we tried were amazing, and red sangria was really good too. Just FYI, you can make reservations up to 2pm on this app, but the service for the brunch closes at 2:30pm, so I don't recommend you to book if it is after 12:30 or 1pm, so you can actually enjoy the food

I recently visited Chica for a Sunday brunch with high expectations, given its Michelin guide recommendations for 2022 and 2023. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had hoped for. We were a group of five, and from the start, things did not go as expected. The food was disappointing, with bruschetta featured in almost every dish and the overall taste was lacking in freshness. Additionally, the ambiance was not conducive to a relaxing brunch. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to converse and enjoy our time together. On top of that, the restaurant seemed understaffed, with only two servers attending to the entire brunch crowd, which resulted in slow service. What was supposed to be a lovely Sunday brunch turned into a rather disappointing experience. Sadly, Chica did not live up to its reputation.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your experience with us at Bar Chica.I’m dismayed and disappointed that we weren’t able to give you and your family a positive and flawless experience when you visited us for the AYCE brunch. It was pouring rain, you all came from North of the city, and being in the restaurant industry yourselves, you are familiar with the ins and outs of food, service and operating a successful restaurant. We were absolutely short staffed that day, which unfortunately couldn’t be avoided due to unforeseen circumstances, however that should never reflect the service and experience our guests have when they decided to join us for a meal. I can only apologize to you on behalf of myself and our team here at Bar Chica. All the best Team Chica

We had a wonderful small plates dinner at Chica. The staff were wonderful and we were the only one’s there for the first 1/2hr we were there. Food was very good.
