Chianti is a destination for foodies and wine lovers. You won’t ﬁnd a culinary adventure like Chianti on Mackinac Island or Northern Michigan. Every detail on our farm-to-ferry menu matters - from the wine picked exclusively for Mission Point to a seasonal sampling of the region’s bounty. Reservations are required and can be made through the concierge by calling 906.847.3007. Chianti serves a hand crafted 5 course prix fixe menu at $125.00 per person.

Please note that there is no children's menu at Chianti and Mission Point Resort's kids eat free program is not available.

All staff were very warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our waiter - Tyler was amazing! He was so charming, funny and anticipated our needs in advance. The food was incredible. Very fresh and creative. I will be dreaming of the sake sea bass for a long time. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

The food was excellent, although our daughter was very disappointed and she wanted to do the 5-course prix fixe. We asked her her and my husband could do it and my other daughter and I could do ala cart due to allergies and they couldn’t accommodate with the price fixe. It had to be everyone at the table or no one. That was disappointing and the fact they wouldn’t accommodate GF. Only appetizer GF was oysters, which I can’t eat. Only dessert as Sorbet.

We did the prie fixe menu with the suggested wine pairings. You are eating art when you are here. Meals are complex and thoughtfully laid out by accomplished chefs. We would return for sure. The live piano playing was a bonus which added to the overall evening. It was a perfect anniversary dinner for my wife and I.

Outstanding service and good food all around. They accommodated our hungry and food connoisseur of a toddler very well. Everyone from the grand piano player to waiters to the manager was so happy and kind. Food was top notch. Would highly recommend for a relaxed but fancy atmosphere.

Fantastic food with an amazing view. The staff was attentive and the background music was beautiful. A wonderful date night! Really good vegetarian options as well.

The staff is fantastic and does an amazing job. You cannot go wrong with what you order, but particular highlights were the truffled potato croissants, seared pork belly and the apple. Enjoy!

Service was great however slightly disjointed between courses. Food was good and wine pairings were good. The room needs an upgrade. It’s old,tired, and not very attractive. Overall $500 for 2 people for what we experienced was expensive.

This is restaurant that is set up in an unused rundown portion of a ballroom at a resort. It is connected to their main ballroom where if you eat here on a weekend there will be a wedding. So we were entertained with Bohemian Rapsody pumping through the rickety doors and a piano player on the other end. Service was French style and the food was presented well, and the wine list was extremely limited but was moderately priced. To claim this is fine dining is kind of a joke - yes it was a tasting menu which should allow the chef to expertly prepare each dish, but this wasn’t the case. Slapped together spices and plain sauces to try and cover up small portions (even a tasting menu standard) is not worth your time or money to be wasted at the equivalent of a Holiday Inn ballroom.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff and delicious, thoughtfully prepared menu. Our server did an excellent job navigating me through the gluten free options on the menu. Several tables have a beautiful view of the water. It was nice to have live piano music on site, but it was quite loud and made it a little difficult to hear the server and each other. Highly recommend to anyone staying on the island!
