Chianti is a destination for foodies and wine lovers. You won’t ﬁnd a culinary adventure like Chianti on Mackinac Island or Northern Michigan. Every detail on our farm-to-ferry menu matters - from the wine picked exclusively for Mission Point to a seasonal sampling of the region’s bounty. Reservations are required and can be made through the concierge by calling 906.847.3007. Chianti serves a hand crafted 5 course prix fixe menu at $125.00 per person.

Please note that there is no children's menu at Chianti and Mission Point Resort's kids eat free program is not available.

The atmosphere was amazing, service was great and the food was delicious but there was just not enough food served for the price paid. I got the butternut squash entree and it was the size of a small side dish. We left hungry.

We enjoyed the chefs tasting menu without the wine pairings. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Wine list was very extensive and relatively reasonable. Our server Carlos was great. Definitely not for the feint of heart ($225 per person w wine), but worth the money for a special occasion. It’s the nicest dining venue on the island for foodies!

This was a night of firsts for me: First Amuse Bouche (good, but glad it was complementary for my birthday— because I asked, when the couples on either side of us were presented with it for their anniversaries), first Foie Gras (best thing I had all night, but $30 for a tiny square of food was a bit rich even for two mouthfuls of deliciousness), first Lamb Loin (with dehydrated black olive dust, on Romesco sauce—duck was a tad overdone, so dry and could have used additional sauce to compensate). Wish I had chosen the Pancetta wrapped Venison Tenderloin instead—that was perfectly cooked. The Pinot Grigio we ordered was out of stock, but a bottle costing $10 more wasn’t, so felt a little bit gouged. Still, it was my first ever 5 Star meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I’ve had the experience, I can tick it off my bucket list, with satisfaction. We will return to Mission Point and try some of their less pricey options. Lovely location and great service.

A great place to go for a fancier dinner while on the Island with elevated dishes. Staff is attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

All staff were very warm, welcoming, and attentive. Our waiter - Tyler was amazing! He was so charming, funny and anticipated our needs in advance. The food was incredible. Very fresh and creative. I will be dreaming of the sake sea bass for a long time. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

The food was excellent, although our daughter was very disappointed and she wanted to do the 5-course prix fixe. We asked her her and my husband could do it and my other daughter and I could do ala cart due to allergies and they couldn’t accommodate with the price fixe. It had to be everyone at the table or no one. That was disappointing and the fact they wouldn’t accommodate GF. Only appetizer GF was oysters, which I can’t eat. Only dessert as Sorbet.

We did the prie fixe menu with the suggested wine pairings. You are eating art when you are here. Meals are complex and thoughtfully laid out by accomplished chefs. We would return for sure. The live piano playing was a bonus which added to the overall evening. It was a perfect anniversary dinner for my wife and I.

Outstanding service and good food all around. They accommodated our hungry and food connoisseur of a toddler very well. Everyone from the grand piano player to waiters to the manager was so happy and kind. Food was top notch. Would highly recommend for a relaxed but fancy atmosphere.

Fantastic food with an amazing view. The staff was attentive and the background music was beautiful. A wonderful date night! Really good vegetarian options as well.
