Chez Max Palace Street, situated in the heart of Dublin City Centre next to Dublin Castle, invites you to experience its charming French ambience, bistrot, and café. Guests can relax on the front terrace, enjoy the Parisian vintage indoor area, or unwind in the heated back patio.

For larger groups (seven or more), bookings cannot be made through this platform. Please email us at chezmaxpalace@gmail.com, and we will provide a form to collect the necessary details for your group.

The ambience in Chez Max is very French. The decor, the layout and the music along with the staff all combine to give the diner the sense of being in France. We were there for lunch and there were plenty of customers. It was a lovely, lively environment and we had no trouble conversing. The food was rxcellent. I strongly recommend Chez Max.

We had a fantastic dinner at Chez Max. We chose the 3 course menu which was excellent - plenty of choice and the food was just delicious. My husband (who is French) had the escargots which he adored. The gravalax du saumon was melt in the mouth. Confit de Canard was fabulous and the wine (Merlot) was a delight. The restaurant was busy so do book ahead of time if you want to get a table especially in December. Lively but not overly noisy. We’ve eaten several times at Chez Max and it is consistently wonderful - would highly recommend.

A terrific dining experience Great ambience with very helpful staff who gave excellent service Food was superb all courses were of a high stand and delicious Check Max has a unique French style and food and is very well priced.
