Chez Dominique is a family run restaurant serving French and European food.
We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir.
We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks.
Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room. Bookings of 7-8 will be seated in the Private Dining Room.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chez Dominique where you can enjoy good food and drink in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

Four of us went for dinner on a Monday night .. two birthdays in our group and once our waitress of champagne bought us each a glass of Prosecco.. nice touch . Great dinner all round .. had a variety of mains from cod to duck to steak and all great . Come here often and enjoy the feel of it .

Booked a table last minute and was seated but team seemed under pressure and service was a little stressed. Food is very pricey for what you get (£32 for a duck breast etc) and the waiting times for food (although forewarned) seem unnecessarily long. Supplement pricing on special items seem excessively high and confusing. Wait staff were lovely but definitely felt stretched (waited nearly 15-20mins for a drinks order) and was nearly mistakenly charged nearly £50 more on the bill due to the staff being under pressure

Amazing place - lovely location, beautiful restaurant, warm and attentive service, and most of all, wonderful food. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent - tasty and quality Service was friendly and not stuffy Good value in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Really great place to eat and relax.

Had a lovely dinner with friends. Warm welcome from the outset. Plenty of menu choice including the specials. All the food was excellent. Slightly expensive but not untoward for Bath centre.

Superb evening meal. We both had scallops to start and my husband had the skate wings and I had the sea bass. The dishes were beautifully balanced and cooked perfectly. We would thoroughly recommend and will visit when in Bath again

Our ´go to’ restaurant for lunch in Bath. Superb independent restaurant, great food and staff who are really keen to make sure that you enjoy the experience.
