Tucked away behind Victoria Street and only minutes away from St James’s Park and Victoria station, Chez Antoinette Victoria adds to the neighbourhood’s vibrant restaurant scene. An oasis of calm locals would prefer us to keep a secret. “We wanted to create a canteen for the locals and provide the business community with a new dining-room” Jean-Baptiste JB Noel, co-owner.

Chez Antoinette Victoria draws inspiration from the beloved Parisian cafés, combined with a blend of Lyon’s famous guinguettes, reinterpreting classic dishes from tarts to tartines treating fresh seasonal ingredients with a modern sensibility.

    Classic French bistro! Excellent food and service with a great patio area for outdoor dining. A bit pricey but expected for the area

    Fantastic restaurant both food and service. The salmon and Sea Bass were superb and the host and waiters could not have been better. A great experience from start to end. Will go back over and over again and recommend to all of our friends. Prices cannot be beat and worth every penny.

    The food is delicious, truly French, the place is cosy, nice decor and clean, the service is great and with sense of humour!

    We love Chez Antoinette and its ambience and the staff is always very accommodating of our son. Dinner appetisers are fantastic. On this occasion and several recently, though, we’ve found service to be somewhat chaotic and distracted, resulting in very long waits and items not delivered, as well as main courses underwhelming. We very much hope these are temporary, isolated stumbles!

    Loved finding this local neighborhood spot. Delicious menu and cocktails. Desserts were great. Eve, our waitress was lovely. Do try this spot if you are in town and wanting a solid French menu.

    Nice ambiance and cozy bistro feel. Salad Nicoise was good Salmon was ok, pommes vapures were hard and tasteless. My Kir Royale was small and not very good though the glass of Chablis was excellent. Service was spotty and rushed (one server for the whole outside). Overall, mixed review though it was probably a good choice for the area.

    Order was placed incorrectly, bloody mary was revolting, onion soup was mediocre. Snails were good, but portions were quite small. No butterknife provided, and service was slow. Disappointed.

    Cadre très agréable au choix : en terrasse chauffée, a l’intérieur et a l’étage. Le Personnel parle Français, le service est sympathique et rapide. Excellente carte des vins. Attention aux Burgers, comme partout en Angleterre, ils ont l’obligation de les faire bien cuit pour respecter les normes d’hygiène. Expérience à renouveler.

    Lovely little courtyard find with indoor and outdoor seating - ambience and staff give a great french cafe feel. Lunchtime service was fast, food was good and reasonably priced. A good find.
