Lettuce was brown, tomatoes soggy, shrimp not fresh, and pasta sticky and dried out. For the price the food fell far short of expectations. Would not eat at the restaurant again.

4 PM reservation prior to football game. Had to go down the street and pay $30 to park for 2 hours. Restaurant now has totally inadequate parking available, and apparently sells some of their existing available parking to tailgaters. Several parking spots blocked with cones, not available for diners. Dinner itself was fine, but will find another location for pre-game dining.

Great wine list. Food is always excellent. Service is never slow. Must try their crab dip app and their neva’s potato’s side. When they have their strawberry shortcake dessert, it’s to die for!

Chesapeake’s is always a great experience. From the fine details of designing a menu dedicated for the occasion, to presentation , service and taste. Our family looks forward to our visits. The food was delicious. Started with appetizers, calamari and grilled oysters which were amazing. Choices for entrees were filet & grilled shrimp, filet and lobster tail, fried oysters platter and the ever so scrumptious stuffed lobster. Never a disappointment.

The food was the up to the usual high standard one expects at Chesapeake's Downtown . We appreciate that the decor and ambiance are familiar and comfortable. It's nice to visit a restaurant that does not feel it has to constantly "update . Our server Tim was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive and enhanced our dining experience. We highly recommend Chesapeake's Downtown.

Enjoyed the experience. Food, drinks and service was excellent! We were seated near the bar which was a little loud but not noisy. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing dinner at Chesapeakes. The service and food are top notch. They have great seafood of course but they also have the BEST steak in Knoxville.

Our waiter was pushy and couldn’t tolerate his demeanor. Food was good and pricing was high.
