Despite having a reservation for 3 at 5:00 this rainy Sunday evening, the receptionist asked if would like to sit at the bar. When I told her "no," she seemed a little put off. I also felt like we were hurried through our meal. We had only been seated with the menus less than 2 or 3 minutes and were asked it we were ready to order. She seemed to be in a hurry to clear plates and have us leave. When we left , there were still only people at about half of the tables, so it was not like they needed to rush to get the next reservations seated. I have dined here 5 or 6 times now and all of those were for special occasions and everything about those times were excellent! Today was a "thank you" to my staff and I just felt we did not get a great experience. The food was great however and arrived in a timely manner. Perhaps today was just a fluke.

Wow, my wife and I went to Cherokee ChopHouse last night and will be going again next Sunday. Hope to be Sunday regulars with our waitress Phoenix. Where to begin in relating our exemplary dinner experience? Upon walking into the restaurant the first thing we noticed was the spectacular overhead lighting and plush leather booths adjacent to the bar. They looked so comfy and inviting that we eschewed the dining room and settled into one of the enormous booths overlooking the bar. The small lamp at our table added to the atmosphere and provided just enough light to peruse the varied and extensive menu. They also had two big screen TV’s on either side of the bar so we were able to keep up with the Falcons game. The first thing I noticed was there were so many items on the menu that were not the same type of foods found on most restaurant menu’s. Instead there were many unique items that I wanted to try. Having been to Peru I ordered the Peruvian chicken with lyonnesse potatoes which came hot and crispy just like I had in Peru. My wife had the Prime Rib with loaded potato and blue cheese wedge salad on the Sunday value menu where many entrees are priced at just $20 between the hours of 3-6pm. Service was prompt, courteous and very personable. Simply top notch classy place that has the feel of a New York or Las Vegas steakhouse. Can’t wait to return next Sunday and experience more delicious items on their extensive menu.

The service was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. We definitely will be back. Lauren was great very friendly and attentive to our needs and making suggestions to items to try.

Really excited to try this place as it’s close to our house. I made a reservation for a Saturday night and we left very disappointed. We were sat promptly but waited 15 minutes for our server to come over with water. And that was after the table next to us said something. The food was also disappointing, the French onion soup was mediocre. The cheesy bread seemed like it came out of a toaster oven. The steaks were good and very flavorful, and the sides that we got macaroni and cheese and brussels sprouts were good. Overall, not a great experience for the price.

Restaurant very crowded everyone seemed happy and content. Had an oyster appetizer and my wife had a Caesar salad I ordered a Merlot and wife had a Riesling. Ordered MR prime rib she had M filet, ordered side of mushrooms and onions, mostly onions, lyonnaise potatoes and asparagus with Bernaise sauce. Potatoes were not lyonnaise, asparagus was too large and the Bernaise was Hollandaise . Had to explain to manager how you make Bernaise by reducing red wine vinegar and tarragon and add tarragon to the Hollandaise. Told him asparagus was not edible because of its size, he informed me that they order “jumbo” asparagus, told him the smaller the stalks the more tender it is. To make my Hollandaise Bernaise he brought back a ramekin with tarragon added, not correct! Their only saving grace, meat was excellent, wine was excellent and service with Sarah was exceptional!! I know the owner Gus from years back and I will eat their again! Oh, it was our 40th anniversary!!
