This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will say that we were told they were having a bad night but while looking around the restaurant, the dining experience we had was far inferior to everyone else’s. To start off, the door security told someone in my party that they couldn’t wear their hat while there were several other men in the restaurant wearing hats. Secondly, we had a reservation and was forced to wait 10 minutes while the host was looking for a table for us. When we finally were sat down way in back, we were not greeted by a server for 20 minutes. When he finally did come over he didn’t explain how to access the menu (we used common else and went on the website but still) , ask for drink orders, appetizers, nothing. He comes back maybe 30 minutes later and apologized for the wait then took drink orders only. The drinks took forever to come and they forgot one person’s drink (and didn’t bring it until 15 minutes later). We then ordered the rest of our items, 2 of the orders were missing items that we were told would be brung out but never were. We were told they would be taken off the bill, they weren’t. The bill had to be fixed several times before it was corrected. Our reservation was at 7:30pm, we did not leave until 10:57pm. We felt like we were being held hostage with the lack of urgency there was in service. Our waiter explained that he was not a server usually, he’s the manager. They only had 2 servers for the entire restaurant. There was a woman who was serving our section doing a great job but for some reason we were given the other server who had majority of his tables in the front. We understand that things happen but if you are going to have your guests experience such a terrible experience then you should be making up for your mistakes. We did receive a free round of shots and champagne but it truly did not make up for this experience. We were celebrating a birthday and this was not at all how we expected the night to go.

I enjoyed the food, drinks, and overall experience. Chemistry is such a beautiful place especially for nice photos. This place is perfect for a group outing or date night. It’s hard to find places that are beautiful on the inside and serve good food. You either get one or the other but at Chemistry you get both. I can’t wait to visit Chicago again and visit this place.

They have a strict check in policy but they seated us over 20 minutes after our reservation. The menu for Sunday brunch says lamb chops are included but they aren't unless you have a blue ticket. We also didn't get a blue ticket which is for lamb chops but our waitress never gave us the ticket or even told us what to do. I loved the vibe but there are just a few things I would fix to make this a better experience. I will probably come back.

The server literally was at our table only to get us water. For gratuity to be added to the bill, I should have a server check on my through out my meal. I had enough time in between to wait and then seek management before he came back.

I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here; it was my first time here and the experience was amazing. The food was good and the entertainment was top tier. Definitely returning for a girls night.

There were options on the menu that seemed like they could be made vegan so we chose to dine in. However upon arrival the waiter informed us they had no vegan options.
