Large group. Management was great, understanding a few guests were late due to work. Staff was knowledgeable and food and drinks were fantastic.

Great restaurant overlooking Mississippi River. Waiter was excellent. Food excellent as well.

Food was good, not great. I don't know if it is an OpenTable problem or not, but it has happened at multiple restaurants. Request a table in a certain part of the restaurant and being seated someplace else. I had requested an outdoor table, it's even one of the options when making a reservation on OpenTable, and we were still seated indoors. Why have the option if you are going to ignore it?

Here's the updated review: --- **Chemin à La Mer** delivers a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. We started with fresh oysters that were a perfect introduction to the meal. The seafood gumbo was a comforting bowl of rich flavors, a true Southern delight. The duck confit was rich and flavorful, cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the crème brûlée was a sweet, velvety delight. Every dish was simply amazing, making this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable visit. Oh yeah the view of the Mississippi River and crescent city bridge was amazing.

Everything from the time we checked in to the time we left it was fabulous. We added another person to our table and that wasn’t an issue at all ( originally party of 5 ) the service was great, the cocktails were dangerously good. Appetizers and entrees were delicious and full of flavor. The views were great of the river. Highly recommend
