Excellent experience . We decided to splurge and order the seafood tower for $78 and I tell you what it’s the best seafood tower I’ve had (although I don’t order them that often) and I feel it was priced very well for what we got. We next ordered the Fruti di mare with squid ink pasta and once again it was excellent. Lastly we ordered the mascarpone cheesecake which once again was excellent. Overall very pleased with our meal. Rafael was our server and he was great. We would be very happy to go back when we are in town. Oh and the Observation Bar (forward) on the ship with the live music was legit as well.

Staying aboard the Queen Mary I was concerned about onboard dining options but Chelsea Chowder was absolutely wonderful in every way. From the decor, ambiance service and especially the food! Amazing!

The experience was excellent. Not only did we have the opportunity to dine on one of the most iconic ships of the 20th century, but we were lucky enough to stay the night in on of the state rooms, and enjoy cocktails and Jazz at the Observation Deck lounge. Our service for dinner was perfect. No course brought out too quickly, or too slowly. The temperature of the food was perfect. My wife had the salmon, me the filet. Both were prepared to perfection. I hate fish, however I had a bite of my wife's salmon (on a dare) and I'd have eaten more. It was excellent. Our server kept the perfect balance of checking in without hovering, and timed his approaches as expertly as one could hope. Overall I give the experience highest marks. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It's a splash of solid, well prepared modern cuisine and drinks in an atmosphere that feels 100 years old

Generous portions beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive with great recommendations. Attention to detail went into the preparation of the vegan dishes and steaks!

While a bit pricey menu, it is at least an entire meal as opposed to other higher end establishments that charge a pricey lot for just the main entree and then additional high prices for side dishes. I don’t mind a little higher price when the quality and quantity are measurably better than the average. Chelsea was much better than average. My wife had the filet and I the salmon. Wife is picky and said it was delicious. My salmon was the best in recent memory and I order it a lot. It was served with a perfectly seasoned cilantro sauce and fingerling potatoes. Cindy our server was friendly, prompt and helpful. Bar drinks were good, coffee and a shared crème brûlée was a good finish. If we lived closer to Long Beach, this would likely be a regular visit for us. Without drinks and Governor Newsome’s take it was $65-$75/pp.
