The meatloaf was absolutely tasty. I was skeptical, but it was delicious and came with a heavy side of mashed potatoes and a few asparagus. I would highly recommend.

The view from every table is great. There are even a few tables outside. Servers were attentive. Food was delicious. We enjoyed all our food, really like the clams casino.

Good was excellent … have absolutely no complaints and steak was cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was calming and cozy. Not at all what I was expecting with a gastropub. Would pick this over other high end restaurants. Service was perfect. Meal was well spaced out without waiting too long. Will definitely return!! Highly recommend.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Days Inn roof is also in the view, unfortunately. Food was delicious! Took 30 min to get it which was surprising as there were multiple open tables. Definitely planning to go back.

The good: our waiter, Jamie, was fantastic. He provided excellent service. Our waitress from last year recognized us and said hello, so overall, the staff is excellent. The bad: There was a fistfight and it took security an incredibly long time to come. It was pretty frightening to witness as the fight came closer to the tables and everyone was scared to get involved to break it up. Once the fight was finally over, there was nothing from the manager- no “sorry about that”, “is everyone ok”, nothing- no acknowledgement of what has just happened. Management was totally absent, which we found really upsetting and unprofessional after such a scary experience. The food was also disappointing- we don’t know if it was overcooked due to the fight and if the cooks came out to assist, or if it was the fact we lost our appetite after the fight, but the salmon was overcooked, shrimp dry and burnt. The sriracha shrimp and calamari appetizers were very good. Writing this review primarily due to how the fight and aftermath of the fight was handled (or lack thereof)- we understand they can’t control a fight happening, but management being absent to address it and check on the customers really was unacceptable to us

As always the meal, service and drinks were exceptional.We did have the same server JD who was our server at our last visit, very happy with her ! We try to take advantage of the time we are in Atlantic city at the Tropicana it has been sometime since we have been at the Gastro Pub, due to their hours of service. The nice thing about Gastro is consistency, will continue to return because of this factor. Never disappointing !

The waitress was not as attentive to our party as she was to a couple of other parties. One lother additional support staff member ignored our request for assistance. The two staff members not assigned to our table were very helpful and more connected and courteous. Thank you! The cut of steak was very fatty, but very flavorful and tender. Overall the food was good. I really miss the breakfast at this location. It was AWESOME!
