In historic downtown Winter Garden, a few miles from Orlando’s theme parks, an intimate gourmet dining experience awaits you. Local residents rave about it, and foodies come from all over to sample the superb cuisine and intimate service of The Chef's Table at the Edgewater. Our 3 Course Prix Fixe Dinner is priced at $69.90 per person, consists of 4 choices/course. Pricing may vary on holidays. Guests must be over the age of 8 to dine at the Chef's Table, which generally takes 2 hours.

Brunch is now served on Sat & Sun at our Tasting Room.

Recent awards include the Florida Trend Golden Spoon, Orlando Magazine Dining Awards, winning Best Restaurant, Best Kept Secret, Best Wine Pairing Dinner, Most Romantic Rendezvous, & Best Chef's Table.     A wonderful dinner! We had not been in for a while, but we were seated at our favorite table. We told the waitstaff we were going to the theater after dinner, and every thing was perfectly timed to get us there on time. The Chef’s table offers wine pairings for a reasonable price. We both had decadent starters, and selected the halibut for our main course. It was outstanding, and also decadent. Followed by fabulous desserts. Each menu item is well thought out, with interesting accompaniments that you will remember.

    At first seating the room was noisy as there were several tables talking to each other. They soon left and the noise level was much improved. The wait staff were attentive without being overbearing or rushing us. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in explaining all items. Patrons are asked to order all three tasting menu courses in advance and we were provided ample time to make our choices. The star dish of the night was the Pan Seared Foie Gras which was very flavorful and melted in your mouth. We also had the seared scallops which were cooked to perfection. As our entree my husband had the short ribs which were tender as was my filet. Both were served atop goat cheese gnocchi and a fabulous Black Truffle cream sauce which paired beautifully with the beef. Dessert consisted of a beautiful chocolate Crème Brûlée, rich and chocolaty and an amazingly light strawberry Pavlova with Strawberry Sorbet which was amazing! We also ordered the wine pairing and were so happy we did. We are not sweet wine fans therefore were a little concerned about the dessert wines but the staff was very accommodating, making a substitution. Overall our dining experience was outstanding and we will most certainly be repeat customers.

    The first time we dined here it was much better. This time we went for magical dining. It was not a magical experience. The mushroom ravioli appetizer was overpowered by the cheese, and was not nearly as good as the previous version. We both had the fish with beet risotto. The fish was not flavorful and the risotto was not tasty either. That dessert was a chocolate crème brûlée, which was a dark chocolate pudding with caramelized sugar. The whipped cream was the best part. We will not return.

    The food was just meh for the price. The main entrees came to the table like warm. Plus, the table next to us were so loud we couldn’t even hear each other speak. It was upsetting as it was our wedding anniversary dinner. The only good thing was the service. We won’t be back.

    We have found Chef’s Table to be consistent in service, quality of food, and ambience. Our server, Steve, was excellent.
