We've been here twice and have had an amazing experience each time. The food is perfectly done: steaks and seafood and vegetables exactly right and what we ordered. They have made the most of the space; it's a cool vibe and classy in an understated way. We are happy to have such a great addition to the food scene in Norfolk.

Great food, great atmosphere, and even better customer service!!!! The fried snapper with curry sauce is a must try, and the calamari was the best I ever had!!!! I'll definitely be returning!!!

Went with a good friend of mine both waiters were great with their recommendations and overall service. The food was seasoned great, and the portions were commensurate with the price

Food was excellent. I ordered the pan seared red snapper with fired rice and plantains. It was worth every penny. The music was a great vibe along with the table by the window.

WOW! Terrific vibe the second you enter Chef’s Kitchen! The matte brass accents with black and wood decor create a dramatic yet comfortable and causal atmosphere. Colby and Taj? (Tye?/Tai?) are phenomenal servers who had excellent suggestions for both our dishes and drinks. Their attention to detail regarding our dining experience is unmatched! I am speechless over our amazing dinner for a party of five, but I will try to describe the delectable meal. The unique salmon egg rolls and tender calamari along with those gorgeous specialty drinks were a fantastic start to this eating event. We chose the lamb lollipops a la Oscar, filet mignon, and the oxtail lasagne. Amazing melt in your mouth meats, incredible garlic mashers and delicious vegetables! Did I mention the presentation? We were expecting to enjoy a dessert which promised to be tasty, but we needed to get to the show. Next time, for sure! Our party of five was looking forward to an evening of comedy at Scope and started with Chef’s Kitchen & Cocktails; what an excellent choice!!

This is the 4th time there. The Chef’s sauce is amazing. The calamari was outstanding. Main courses were the Ribs and Oxtail pasta. Both were superb. Chef’s is definitely one of Norfolks best restaurants

This was our first time and we will definitely be back. Our meals were delicious. Our young lady server made recommendations for dinner. We ordered the shrimp as an appetizer. It was very tasty; similar to bang bang shrimp but if you don't like spicy food then don't order. Our dinner was quite tasty and the portions large.

I was thoroughly surprised and satisfied. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Definitely will be returning. The lychee martini and seafood mac n cheeses AMAZING.
