Chef Yu serves up deliciously spicy dishes at his namesake restaurant in the Garment District. His specialties are the Beef Tendon and marinated beef with hot pepper sauce, but that doesn't mean all Yu's dishes aren't standouts! Not only are they delicious, but they are inexpensive. Been there many times. A pleasant room that’s quiet enough to have a conversation. The chicken and pine nuts wrapped in a lettuce leaf is always yummy.

Our experience was good as usual, except for a little language issue. They had some trouble understanding what we wanted, but we will definitely be back.

Food was okay - we ordered shrimp and lobster sauce and there was a funny taste to the shrimp. I think they tasted either old or frozen too long. Entree was served while we were still eating our soup.

I enjoyed my meal at Chef Yu. The food and service were very good. It is convenient for Madison Square Garden.

Came back here for lunch before a Broadway show. As expected, quick service, delicious Chinese food, and a neat restaurant. If you need to use the restroom, it’s not clean and smells like a cigarette smoking area. If you’re not picky about such things, this is the best value for good food near Times Square.
