Wonderful dining experience. Cozy dining room, with limited seating creating a very European style of establishment. The food is beyond expectations. Chef David has operated many excellent restaurants across central Alberta over the last few decades, this very well may be the best. If you are able to visit on a Friday or Saturday the prime rib is amazing, cutting it with a knife is not necessary it is so tender and succulent. Nice selection of appetizers many exceptional italian inspired dishes highlight the menu. Unfortunately for us, the main course filled our stomach's and made us skip dessert, but I think we missed out on something memorable. We look forward to a future 2 hour drive to Olds, Alberta to have another meal at his brilliant bistro. If we are really lucky he maybe doing his legendary Jamaican Jerk Chicken as the special of the day.

Wow! We had the pleasure of having a meal prepared by this chef at another establishment years ago for our anniversary...the ahi tuna tacos along with other amazing dishes...led us on journey of trying to find a dinning experience with something on par. We were delighted to finally discover this gem and be able to celebrate our 21st anniversary there tonight along with our daughter. How grateful we are for a lovely meal and walk down memory lane tonight. We had a selection of appetizers, amazing entrées (the gorgonzola sauce substitute on the pasta with the incredible scallop and pork belly dish stood out for my husband). Followed by the tirimisu and a bourbon Gelato. Not one misstep in the flavour profile of this entire meal, including the complimentary amuse bouche (to die for), and the bread. The indulgent portions that provided us with an amazing later night snack were all so delectable😋. We could not have been happier. Thank you so much for making a VERY special milestone in our family such a memorable event. ❤️ thank you endlessly!

We were greeted and seated promptly and courteously. Our waiter was amazing. He was knowledgable and helpful. The menu had many appealing options to consider. The food arrived quickly and hot. The appetizer and entrees were delicious and well presented. We enjoyed them very much. The crème brûlée we had for dessert was spectacular. It was well worth the drive from Edmonton and would be happy to recommend experience to anyone.

This was our second time in a few months of visiting this restaurant. The food at Chef David’s is excellent and creative. Unfortunately, I cannot rate overall outstanding as the service, while friendly, was slow which was a repeat of our first visit. This is a family run business with Chef David at the helm and his wife and other family members on the floor. The evening we were there wasn’t a packed house but the two servers seemed run off their feet. More prep and better layout would improve things. Chef David came around to ensure we were enjoying our meal. But maybe more time in the kitchen would speed delivery up. As noted, excellent food and service deficiencies, but worth a visit if you’re willing to tolerate the time you will be there.

We had a delightful dinner at Cacio e Pepe with friends we hadn't seen for a long time. We chose this restaurant because of good the reviews and we were not disappointed. We appreciated the Chef coming to personally greet us at the end of our meal. We will be back.

Don’t order the alfredo, not enough sauce so stuck together in a lump. Salad and tapas where good. Lasagna was like frozen stuff from Costco

Thank you, Anonymous for this detailed review. I am sorry you did not mention this to Chef when he was at the table. You had complained about the Lamb Shank so he came to discuss that with you. A perfect opportunity to also bring these other issues to his attention. We do our very best to make everyone happy and the culinary team makes everything from scratch. I have not had the opportunity to try Costco lasagna, so I can't really comment on your culinary perspective. We are a small family-run restaurant, utilizing local suppliers to support our fellow small business owners. I sincerely hope you find a restaurant that meets all your expectations.
