Dining together allows us to better understand who we are, regardless of our social status. The food does not have to be elegant, complicated, or fancy. We find that busy people like simple food—the busier they are, the simpler the food. Our menu is straightforward, down-home Southern food with a few more contemporary dishes.

Getting back to the table allows us to love and nurture each other and renew connections to our families—however they may be configured—in this diverse and ever-changing society. Such connections are crucial in a fast-paced world where we feel more disconnected every day. One of the best ways we know how to restore that daily balance is to sit down at our table.

We should all think about returning to the sanctity of the table, where we can rebuild our families whether they be given or chosen, and reconnect with those we love and choose to love. Our table is a familiar, uncomplicated, friendly place where we can celebrate.

Service was poor. Waited 15 minutes before someone arrived at our table. Signs for happy hour on the table but when the bill came we were told that happy hour pricing was only available at the bar. With a bill of $180 for 2 entrees, an appetizer and 3 drinks you would expect better service. Would not recommend.

Perfect noise level, even with music in the background. We were able to carry on a conversation. Food was delish, btw

All the meals were excellent. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I would definitely recommend to others.

The chicken was everything !! Really enjoyed the appetizers as well!! The deviled eggs scrumptious and BINGO was fun!! I’ll be back on Tuesday 😉

Some of the best food I’ve had. We had been traveling for 9 days and eating out multiple times a day. This was by far the best food we had eaten on our trip. Everything my family ordered was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys home cooking and/or comfort food and/or southern food. It was amazing!

Over priced, food was barely okay. “Cater” to tourists. Maybe the better option if looking to eat at Navy Pier.

Service was great, the food and the drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was friendly, happy and comfortable. We sat outside. Good live music.
