Come enjoy a delicious meal right off the wood fire grill! We are located right in the heart of the historic Fayetteville square, and welcome you to join us for an incredible meal in an inviting, lively atmosphere. Our kitchen uses only select mesquite wood to insure every item has just the right amount of smoky flavor. For a grilled lunch or dinner, we offer classic steaks from ribeye to filet mignon as well as a few outside of the box items like lamb chop lollipops and jalapeño-stuffed quail breast. We also have sandwiches, salads, soups, and house-made desserts.

About the Building

Built in 1911, this historic building began its important role in the Fayetteville community as the city Post Office. In 1974 it was saved from demolition by a citizen-led petition, and gained National Historic status. We are honored to continue the tradition of bringing people together and celebrating the citys history in the beautiful Old Post Office.

Amazing all around! I booked for my husbands birthday brunch and they were able to have the table all set with his favorite beer and an arrangement of juices for mimosas! The omelet was to DIE for and my husband said the waffles were great as well! They got us seated and food to us within 15 minutes. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back!

We loved our visit to Cheers at the OPO. It was amazing. The food was spectacular, and the service was great. I can't wait to go back.

Overall great experience for party of 5 One party’s food was very salty and pork chop not cooked well. But all other parties for was great including apps and drinks and service!!!!

Excellent food and overall experience. It was an extremely busy day, so service was very slow-she was great but I think backed up due to the business.

As always, food and vibe amazing. We are local and this is one of regular faves. The server did seem a bit unengaged. Usually, everyone is so friendly. Host staff great. Fried green tomatoes, lemon chicken, green beans, drinks.

The food was delicious. The waitress was very good except that she was also the bartender so she was very busy and not as attentive as she could be. We had reservations and asked a regular table instead of a high top but it wasn’t honored.
