Chateau-X has quite the story, born out of lockdown, we took a luxurious chateaubriand experience to homes across the UK.

Growing our offering throughout lockdown saw demand for us to increase so much, we knew we couldn't stop when life resumed to the 'new normal'.

That brings us to today, Chateau-X in Finnieston, our first official restaurant, home to our luxurious Chateaubriand experience, for a reasonable price. Not skipping out on quality either as you might know already, we're vocal about being local.

Our mission is simple - bring top quality British sourced meat and produce to our community, with a bit of banter on the side. So, what are you waiting for?

Nice meal, however my partners steak was way over cooked and very very chewy. We did mention this however nothing was done unfortunately. My steak was lovely and the sides and frites were lovely, the girl who served us was also great, just disappointed with one of the steaks.

Service was fantastic thank you again lovely girl serving. Prices have went up from what was on the menu of Open table open table stated £10 for steak and frites and menu was £12.50. Last time I went u absolutely loved this place and couldn’t wait to rush back but this time I was a little more disappointed. I understand it is either pink or well done so I ordered pink as I like MR. This last time I went this was lovely perfect, but this time it was really blue steak. I couldn’t eat it.. or cut it. Was more like a fight with my food than enjoying it. (But that may have been the steak knife not being sharp enough) asked for it to be cooked a bit more it was okay but just wasn’t for me. my friend got pink aswell but hers was perfect. (She usually orders pink) Chips, prawns and sauces were absolutely amazing though.

First time here and definitely will be back. Great Sunday roast in a great wee setting. Staff were very welcoming and professional. Really enjoyed the experience 👍🏻

We were a family of 5 with 3 children 13,11 and 9 and we had a lovely meal and the staff were so attentive

Second visit in the last week food is amazing absolutely no complaints, waitress’s are really nice. Prices increased since last visit over a week ago but can’t complain amazing value for money and quick service. Only feedback I would suggest is that gentleman that seems to be running the place couldn’t be less welcoming if he tried, two occasions and the exact same almost like it’s a nuisance his restaurant is full, he’s cordial enough to get to you your table and off he goes very little ambiance or warmth or personality to this restaurant which you would normally expect , a smile goes a long way.

Previously had a good experience here so returned. Unfortunately this time the fries and tobacco onion side were stone cold. Meat was not pink but completely raw and thick line of sinuet in middle of meat - both steaks- was unpleasant. Were told what cheesecake of the day was, but noone returned to take order, then after waiting for 20mins we were brought our bill without being asked. I think an off night or just too busy. Should be great. Simple restricted menu so good formula. Execution just didn't work.

Front of house rude and abrupt, other staff nice and helpful. Steak not good, tasteless and tough. Good chips! Which says it all for a steak restaurant. Got two small cheesecakes when we fed back about the steak. But sadly we wanted a nice steak meal. Overall we won’t be returning!

Everything was great. The music could’ve been a bit lower as it caused it caused others to talk too loudly. And we couldn’t hear each other very well. Won’t stop us going back!
