Perched on the rooftop of Pendry Chicago, this indoor-outdoor al fresco destination evokes the airy, effortless allure of the French countryside with a sun-drenched garden setting overlooking the city.

Not the best view. Service seemed overwhelmed but they were very nice. Food was mediocre.

The service is the sole reason I will never return. The floor staff needs a complete overhaul on customer service training. I asked if we could be seated on the patio after speaking to the hostesss, who said she would try her best to accommodate. I informed my server and asked if she could keep a look out for a table outside, to which she laughed and replied “well, good luck”. At time of payment, my card was not handed to me. I got another customer’s card handed to me, and my card was given to a stranger. But there was no extra effort to fix the issue by the server, it was just a big ol oops sorry. Other than that the views and outdoor space is nice. Unfortunately I will never return.

AMAZING drinks, and the absinthe options were absolutely stellar. The venue itself is so pretty and the service was lovely. 10/10, would go back.

We were seated 20mins after our reservation time. There seemed to be tension between the staff. Seating arrangements could def be improved.

Not anywhere near Pendry level expectations. Service was weak, food so so and ambiance on the deck was awful. Needs work.

I had a VERY bad and disappointing experience last night ( July 4th). When I went to the bathroom, one of the staff moved my belongings ( phone , my glass of champagne) and gave my table to someone else. I spent almost $150.00 but yet was disrespected, probably because I am a person of color. The manager tried to politely fix the issue but I was just too hurt. They need to do better with their customer service. I will never go back there.

Very cute rooftop. Took around 20 minutes to get the drink after ordering. Since we were inside due to no outside seating available no one was checking on us. 45 minutes later I stopped another server for our drink since our server was outside. Finally got the second drink 1 hour and 30 minutes into out time there. Drinks were good but I felt disappointed overall in the place.

Amazing experience …we weren’t able to use the rooftop due to rain but we were moved inside and the staff specifically Spencer made the night soooo memorable!! We will be back!

The best thing about our meal was the absent trio and the meat and cheese platter. Unfortunately, the kitchen was understaffed, and we had quite a wait for our food. The view is lovely on the patio outside, and our server was friendly and kind - Still, a rather underwhelming experience.
