Chartier

On the last Monday of every month, we welcome local ladies to Chartier from 7pm-9pm for a casual night of games, conversation, drinks, and snacks. One of our regulars approached us with the idea of hosting a women’s game night. She was eager to put together a recurring event that gave local ladies the chance to meet + connect…similar to card nights that her mom, Rhonda, used to participate in before she passed away. These card nights gave her mom something to look forward to, a community to connect with, and a great reason to leave house. Tickets are $15 each, which includes access to a charcuterie buffet bar (more like a hefty snack vs. a full meal, and other food and drinks will be available for purchase!) Games will be available on-site, and you’re welcome to bring a game of your choice too.

Join us for an Irish Whiskey celebration, with guest host Sean Kincaid for Dark Cloud Whisky. You will be greeted with a reception cocktail followed by a tasting of three different pours, paired to three small bites, highlighting each spirits unique flavour profile and character. We hope to see you there!

On Wednesday, March 26th join us for the first ever Read | Eat | Drink book pairing dinner, where we create a four course set menu centered around a book from our friends and neighbours at Daisy Chain Book Co. We're kicking off with a book that sparked SO much joy for our culinary and foodie hearts - Taste by Stanley Tucci. Taste is a reflection on the intersection of food and life, filled with anecdotes about growing up in Westchester New York; preparing for and shooting the foodie films Big Night and Julie & Julia; falling in love over dinner, and teaming up with his wife to create meals for a multitude of children. Each morsel of this gastronomic journey through good times and bad, five-star meals and burned dishes, is as heartfelt and delicious as the last. The menu will be a blend of recipes from Tucci's memoir, along with inspiration from our own core food memories. The evening includes a private shopping party at Daisy Chain, a four course dinner, reception cocktail, and a reading of favourite snippets from the book.
