    The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the view was great but the service was very slow. We got water to drink very quickly but it took 30 minutes to get drinks. In total it took 3 hours to complete our meal and we didn’t even have desert. They were not busy as there were many open tables. I would recommend this restaurant for everything but the slow service.

    We dine regularly at Chart House. The food is always delicious and the service fine. Since it is a busy place, sometimes service takes longer than one might hope, but that could be remedied by adding servers. Bailey, who waited on us, is always attentive and friendly. First class establishment!

    We arrived on time to find both dining rooms quite busy for a Wednesday night. We started with a mango mojito and a Tito's vodka martini which were of good size and modestly priced. We split a chopped salad which presented cucumber, tomato, onion, but did not have the cannellini beans listed on the menu. Also, it was odd that my dining partner's portion was crispy and nicely colored while my half of the salad seemed to have a few brown pieces of lettuce and was missing the beans. Our entrees of bouillabaisse and baked sea bass were outstanding and reasonably priced. For dessert, the key lime pie was large for the price and tasted of home made. We sampled the malbec with our entrees and it was quite good. Our server Bailey was friendly and knowledgeable but lacked the finesse of an experienced server. For example, we had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled as well as a few minor timing issues. Overall, a very nice meal as always.

    Unfortunately, the filet mignon was sub par. Fatty and chewy. Otherwise, the dinner was great.

    The seafood pasta was subpar. The waitress removed a plate or fork as soon as you put it down not waiting for everyone to finish…very annoying.

    We have eaten at the Chart House in Atlantic City NJ numerous times and tried the Scottsdale Chart House. My wife had the sea bass with lobster risotto which was very good. I was very disappointed in my meal selection. I ordered the $55 Savory Shrimp Pasta. I really didn't know anything about the pasta but did look it up on the internet. It said the wide egg noodle pasta usually went well with a heavy meat sauce. Never did we see it with a garlic butter sauce. More importantly the light garlic butter sauce was horrible and had no taste whatsoever. There was NO garlic in the sauce at all. I did tell the waiter when he asked how was everything and he offered to call the manager. I refused as there were many diners close by and I felt since it was their busy time it wasn't the appropriate time. In closing I wanted to let you know how disappointed I was with the dining experience at the Chart House of Scottsdale. Paul A

    We have enjoyed The Chart House at this location for several years and have not been disappointed. This evenings service could not have been better. The Ceaser salad was the best and most original I have ever had. The chocolate lava cake should not be missed. It was a much better dinner than I have experienced at any of the Kierland restaurants. I particularly like the very large menu selection.
