    Could only get reservations for 8 either 4:30 or 8:30. When we got there 5 minutes late. The door was locked and we were forced to wait another 5 minutes despite the hostess standing at the desk. We were ignored. We were there until 6:30p and the restaurant was EMPTY. Why couldn’t we get reservations for the requested time of 6pm? The carpet was tired and dirty, the fountain was dirty. Food was just fair. Appetizer Calamari was good, Caesar salad was far too salty-even for my salt lover husband. Our guests got prime rib and filet. Neither were cooked as requested. Mahi Mahi was bad. Guests had the preordered lava cake that was just meh. The prices were high. Not worth it. Sorry to see it had gone down.

    There were nine of us celebrating our daughters birthday. It was a great experience with a beautiful view and delicious food.

    One of our three entrees was subpar. That wouldn't have been so bad if the service hadn't been so slow. As far as I could tell, the servers did their tasks inefficiently so that it took much longer than it should have for them to get back to our table to check on things and bring things that were needed. Also, the elevator was out of service, a major problem since one of our party is disabled. Fortunately, the staff did eventually get us out the back way to avoid the steps when it was time to depart. But all this did put a damper on the evening.

    I made a reservation a few days ahead for my birthday. I was so excited to try Chart House. We arrived at 7pm. We were promptly sat. We ordered a pomegranate mojito and a blood orange margarita. We knew it was Restaurant week so we wanted to see those options. As soon as I requested a restaurant week menu, our server Amanda’s demeanor changed. We ended up ordering everything off of the main menu. It took about 30 minutes for our drinks to be served. About 20 more minutes for our crab cake appetizer to arrive. But neighboring tables were receiving food and drinks before our drinks. My boyfriend ordered soup. Of course it took forever. Keep in mind we ordered everything at the same time. The kicker was after 1 hour and 30 minutes we had no entrees! When I asked Amanda if I could speak to a manager, and have the bill of the items we actually received she came back instantly with the food. It was cold, it was obvious that everything was sitting for some time! The manager asked if she could give us 2 free drinks for the delay which I declined. I again asked for the check for the things we actually received. The “manager” messed up the bill twice before giving the accurate bill. A horrible experience for my birthday I was totally disappointed. I still gave Amanda a tip but I’m not sure why. My boyfriend had to comfort me because I was on the verge of tears! I was excited all week to get dressed up and enjoy my birthday dinner. We left at 9pm. So at that point it was too late to make another reservation elsewhere.

    This location needs a complete renovation. 1970’s decor and furnishings. The view is terrific. Landrys needs to step it up or step away here

    The food was excellent. We had oysters, salad, stuffed shrimp, and steak. The service was very good. There was a very large party close by that needed extra attention, so our waitress was not able to be as attentive to us as she would have been. Even still, the service was still very good.

    We went here for my birthday - the staff was friendly and accommodating, the location on the river was amazing and the food and drinks were delicious. We will definitely be back in the future!

    Chart House is out dated. Inside is worn looking. Hasn’t been updated in over 20 years. Calamari was amazing. The halibut was not fresh and tasted fishy. Not worth the money at all!
