Le Chart House Restaurant - Alexandria se situe dans la vieille ville historique d'Alexandria, derrière la Torpedo Factory, et est le seul restaurant en front de mer de la région. Il offre des vues panoramiques sur la rivière Potomac, le Woodrow Wilson Bridge et le Capitole des États-Unis. Depuis 1961, le Chart House propose une expérience culinaire idéale.     This was not a good experience. Food had to be sent back. When the food was severed the second time it was not done as requested (overdone). There was a request for extra sauce for the shrimp, it took three requests and about 15 minutes before it was delivered. By that time, it was too late, and the food was too cold to enjoy.

    Sunday brunch. Wait staff was nice, and attentive. Drinks were good. Food was fresh but actually wasn't that good. The white tablecloths and high-end eating utensils cover up the fact that our brunch tasted on par with Silver Diner. My wife said, 'no..actually Silver Diner is better'. While the food is edible, go there for good conversation and the view. But lower your expectations if you're expecting anything delicious. First time in a long while where out entire party had quite a bit of food leftover, but we all declined to-go containers. Thing is, the conversation and view was so engaging we never discussed how bad the food was until we all got home and were starving. We then door dashed Ted's Bulletin and our desire for a good meal was finally satisfied. All in all, it was a lovely Sunday on the water.

    A wonderful venue, great and unique salad bar (caviar), wonderful food, great ambiance and service. Great for special celebrations.

    Excellent, the waitress was a bit chatty at the table next to us but the guy she was training took great care of us. Food was great and reasonibly priced and a great view. Andre the Host was also great.

    4 of us enjoyed lunch at the Chart House. Some of our orders specified food removed and all orders came just as we ordered them. Waitress was quick and efficient and provided all we needed - including keeping our water glasses topped off.

    Our table was near a window and there was an infestation of ants. We were distracted through the entire meal because the ants kept coming from a hole in the window trim.

    There was a very, very noisy table next to us -- about 10 women who were loud, lots of laughing ! They should have been in a special room or on the patio. our waiter was occupied with them so had issues getting speedily to us.

    Disappointing . Food was a let down, service average and a little slow. Had to send one dish back but to be fair they eventually took it off the check. Chef apologised for the over salty crab legs . Couldn’t taste the calamari as it was dominated by the kimchi sauce. It’s been a long time since I’ve been back in the area and I know it’s changed ownership in that time . Not a change for the better I’m afraid
