Le Chart House Restaurant - Alexandria se situe dans la vieille ville historique d'Alexandria, derrière la Torpedo Factory, et est le seul restaurant en front de mer de la région.     We were disappointed, frankly, having been to The Chart House Restaurant many times over the years. We went into happy hour first and the bartender was also serving. He left us without drinks for a while and I don’t think I ever saw him smile or say thank you to us as we left. At dinner, the bread was stale with the crab dip and they gave us more but some of that was also stale. Last complaint, my husband’s beer glass had a big crack. They said they comped his beers but our bill was really expensive so I don't know if they did. I doubt we will return.

    My second time at this restaurant. Staff was very friendly. Service was great. Food was too. Looked out on the Potomac while we ate. Very nice experience.

    It was our 17th anniversary so we wanted to have dinner on the water. Everything was great and our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and she was super!!!! Will recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely revisit.

    The server didn’t do a very good job or providing great service to our table like she did others. The food was just ok and not worth what was paid for the meal.

    Our waiter was the best ever!!! He introduced us to the loyalty plan, when NO ONE EVER has done that in the past. He was attentive, yet not intrusive. I will be visiting again soon.

    Love the Chart House. My wife and I have made this our go to restaurant for Anniversary and Birthdays for many years. Unfortunately this time was different. It was my wife’s 40th birthday and the waiter didn’t bring out her birthday drink, and every year they do a special cake (anniversary or birthday) and this year my wife was expecting that and all she was handed was the bill.(well I was) and she was very disappointed as was I. Overall food was good but the overall experience was lacking.

    They were extremely crowded and the air conditioner was broken. Therefore, the restaurant was extremely uncomfortable temperature wise seafood/heat don’t make for a great combo. The waitress was as good as she could be considering the circumstances you could tell she was fairly miserable herself, dressed in her uniform dealing with a full Restaurant. The food was OK nothing special. I’m sure it would’ve been a different experience. I had been less busy and the air conditioner working.

    Food was like eating on cruise ship, nothing special and was really like a print and repeat meal. Server was nice, but not what you expect at high end restaurant.
