La cuisine progressive américaine signature de Charlie Palmer a d'abord pris racine dans l'emplacement de maison de ville originale d'Aureole, où il a pris un engagement précoce envers la nourriture de la ferme versus la nourriture d'usine. Aujourd'hui, Aureole continue de briller au One Bryant Park, sous la direction de cuisine du chef exécutif Marcus Gleadow-Ware. Always a good experience here for elevated dining. I like the prixe fixe lunch menu with its ever changing variety. Our service this time was a little uneven but still very good (a downgrade from the usual excellence). Food is always excellent. Highly recommend for a business lunch or indulgent dinner. Very convenient location in the heart of Times Square.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Charlie Palmer Steak for a business lunch, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The steak frites were a highlight—cooked to absolute perfection with a beautifully seared crust and tender, flavorful meat that practically melted in my mouth. The fries were crisp and seasoned just right, making for an ideal pairing. The service was equally impressive. Our server Juan was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks stayed topped off and our meal was just as we wanted. The manager TuKu also came by to check in, displaying genuine care for our dining experience. It’s rare to find such accommodating staff, and it truly made the meal memorable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch steak lunch. Best, Howie

First time to the revamped Charlie Palmer Steak. Had been here two or three times as Charlie Palmer at the Knick. Atmosphere felt similar while certainly leaning more towards Steakhouse. Drinks were excellent, food was fantastic. Menu seemed a little slight. After reviewing the main menu, I ended up going to the pre-theater as the options I was leaning towards were largely there. Service was great and the whole staff was attentive. Our waiter was very clear on how to order to meet our showtime. I was interested in some of the steaks for another visit. Disappointed there was no onion soup on the menu. It was quite good the last time I was here. In all a great experience for the price and placement in Times Square.

Decor too basic. Service, depending on the server. The host was nice and accommodating. The server had sort of a forced snobbish attitude while professional. Wines were overpriced.

I recently dined at Charlie Palmer Steakhouse and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between elegance and warmth, making it an ideal setting for both special occasions and casual dinning. I opted for one of their signature ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. Accompanying the steak were the sides of mac and cheese and broccolini. The mac and cheese was a standout. Creamy with a rich cheese blend, it had a delightful crust on top that added a wonderful texture. Each bite was indulgent, making it hard to resist going back for more. The broccolini was equally impressive, perfectly blanched and seasoned. It provided a fresh, crisp contrast to the richness of the steak and mac and cheese. A highlight of the evening was the service, led by manager Shehab. His professionalism was evident from the moment we arrived. He was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Shehab's knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, enhancing our overall experience. Overall, my visit to Charlie Palmer Steakhouse was exceptional. The combination of top-notch steaks, delectable sides, and outstanding service from Shehab made for a memorable meal. We had such a memorable dining experience. Our waiter was phenomenal! He was so attentive and first asked us if we had any time restraints and we told him that we were seeing a Broadway show. He timed everything perfect! I started out with an Aperol spritz and it was bubbly and delicious! For dinner we split one of their Fall Salads, The Marinated Buffalo Burrata and it was 10/10! They even split the dish ahead of time for us and created a beautiful presentation. The burrata was absolutely delicious and paired perfect with the honey nut squash and pistachios. I also had the Gem Caesar Salad for my entree. The portion was perfect for me and it was covered with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. My husband ordered the Salmon and he said it was cooked perfectly. We ended the meal with a warm Pistachio tarte and ice cream! Incredible experience and service was nothing short of spectacular.

A little on the pricey side but a wonderful meal from start to finish. The elegance of the space makes any night special, the staff are all friendly and attentive, and the food is perfectly prepared and served, steaks especially.

The food was good. My steak frites was on point, as was my wife's salmon. And the warm bread with salted, room-temp butter was perfect. The chocolate dessert was delicious. Best of all was the Knickerbocker Martini they make table side--REALLY good. But the decor, and overall ambiance, reeked of "hotel-event-space-turned-restaurant." This could really be one of NYC's top-ranking steakhouses, but not in an environment that looks like you're dining in an airport.
