    It took 10 minutes to get seated because the host was on the phone. 20 minutes to get water. 30 minutes to get our first drink. Food was marginal - waitress did her best but was mortified. 2 Bar tenders were taking care of restaurant and lobby bar - needed 6 or at least 2 that knew what they were doing. It was my 55th birthday and they offered nothing. No candle on ice cream no comp desert only waived the drinks that took 30 minutes to get. They need to get their act together there are too many options in Napa - would never recommend this to anyone.

    What a fantastic Filipino Heritage Month celebration at Charlie Palmer Steak Napa! This high-end steakhouse really impressed us with their creative take on Filipino cuisine. First impression: WOW! A surprise seafood tower loaded with fresh oysters, jumbo shrimp, and king crab, plus some amazing crispy pork belly bites to start. The real star was their Monday Napa Neighbor menu ($55) featuring Filipino-inspired dishes: - Ahi tuna kinilaw served in a coconut shell with caviar (beautiful presentation!) - Adobo glazed chicken with mushroom risotto (perfectly cooked) - Tropical halo-halo for dessert (authentic flavors with an upscale twist) Pro tip: Add the $25 wine pairings - incredible value for Napa! The service was impeccable - Chef Eddie Espiritu, Autumn Phelps and the F&B team at Charlie Palmer's Napa provided stellar hospitality throughout the evening. The outdoor dining was comfortable and warm thanks to heaters on this gorgeous October night. The restaurant had such a warm, community feeling with many local faces. Napa desperately needs more Filipino cuisine, and Charlie Palmer shows exactly why. Will definitely be back!

    Sitting in restaurant but in lobby area was not great. They were understaffed and even though the manager came over a few times nit a great experience. My suggestion is to make the restaurant area that is in lobby a little more intimate so you don't feel like you are eating in the lobby.

    Steaks were cold and overdone and took forever (and it wasn’t busy). Porterhouse for two was maybe for one and overcooked horribly. Rest of the food was ok at best and top dollar. Server did take off the porterhouse and some drinks from the bill but still. Would not recommend

    I was looking forward to dining here for my birthday. We sat outside and felt as though they somewhat forgot about us. My friend is vegetarian and ordered potatoes and it didn’t say on menu that they have bacon. We asked for heater to be on as we planned to order some more wine and they said sure but never brought it up again. We asked for dessert menu but they brought check instead. Food was pretty good but felt like they just wanted us out of there.

    The Mary’s chicken was so tasty, the skin was crisp, it came with whole small potatoes that was seasoned. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. You have an option of sauces to come with I tried the chimichurri and red wine jus I would always get the red wine jus it was absolutely delicious. The chef gets 5 stars as the food was so good. We also ordered the bread with butter served warm with whipped butter, I like my butter to have more salt flavor. I do recommend all it.

    Portion sizes were noticeably reduced..the risotto to a mere smear on the plate and tasted like the bottom of the pot scrapings. Lamb meatball appetizer came late, with the salads and were undercooked. Cucumber martini was watery and tasteless. The bar was understaffed. Husband’s beer came mid-entree. Understaffed—our poor server had far too many tables to cover but did her best with a great attitude. This restaurant is great when they are on their game. Last night wasn’t their best.

    Took over 40 minutes to get bread on our table. After 8pm on a slow Sunday night. Way understaffed. Management issues. Needs a house cleaning to right the ship.
