Established in 1982 by London restaurateur, Peter Lee, the Charlie Chan Restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Cambridge. Our passion for authentic Chinese food has established the restaurant as a firm favourite with the people of Cambridge and tourists alike, serving fresh dim sum and traditional Chinese food daily.

We look forward to welcoming you at Charlie Chan soon.

Nice food. Friendly service. I hadn't been to Charlie Chan's for years. Nothing much changed - food was very good and quick service.

Went to Charlie Chan before we went to the Arts Theatre. Very happy with food and service. Will definitely visit again

Always good food at Charlies. The mixed dim sum is delicious. Dry fried beef Ho Fun is very good. Salt and pepper prawns, Vietnamese spring rollls, and turnip paste cakes, are lovely.

Had a great meal. Third time visiting and absolutely amazing. Service was efficient and food exceptional. Will definitely be back when visiting Cambridge again. Double cooked pork is a must!

Restaurant was closed and there was no pre-warning as to this closure. We travelled from outside Cambridge only to find the restaurant closed “until further notice”.

Came to Cambridge on a day out with friends & kids. I was recommended Charlie Chan by a friend & this place did not disappoint. The food was fresh & less oiler than most dim sum places we get & the staff were super friendly. The only issue was we had to wait a while before someone took our order but once it was, the food came out really quick.

Good atmosphere. Good dim sum although deep fried items were not great. Service was fast. They were accommodating with our booking even though we arrived a bit late.

It's in the center of the cambridge on the oppsit side of the University Army Hotel. The beef brisket test best. The servings here are quite large, definitely meant for sharing. Not easy to park, better park in the mall or other side of the park.
