The most wonderful of times. A legend of a waiter, a lovely atmosphere and the most delicious food. Highly recommend this experience for a special occasion. Loved it.

As others have noted, this is...puzzlingly...a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory afternoon tea that doesn't have any actual chocolate. Chocolate-flavoured tea (or hot chocolate for kids) is as close as it gets. No chocolate fountain, no Wonka bar, not even a single chocolate. As others have also noted, the themed decorations downstairs are sparse enough to rival Glasgow.

Food was excellent, if you were intending to take children for a Charlie & The Chocolate experience, then you should go elsewhere. There is absolutely nothing for children, no chocolate fountains there is nothing magical about it at all, except the food. The ambiance is very plain and boring, nothing what we were expecting. Overall good food, but certainly was NOT a Charlie & The Chocolate Factory establishment.

It was a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and our server was friendly and service minded. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Not at all as advertised. Quite a drab location in basement of hotel. Staff was very nice after we patiently waited for our courses for over two hours.

We enjoyed it but at £50 and £70 per head it would have been nice to have a bit more theatre around the experience rather than having to pay additional fees.

I am gluten and dairy free and they did an amazing job of eking the menu so I could still try everything. You made a point to say everything was gluten and dairy free when they brought it out. The food was delicious and the entire experience was a lot of fun.

Given the name there were hardly any chocolate treats - just one tiny mousse. The sandwiches were very mediocre and tiny. The quiche was literally thumb sized. Extremely underwhelming. The best thing about the whole experience was our host Fanta. She was friendly, patient and charming.
