The service was fabulous from the moment we walked into, which really made our experience! All the food was delicious and more sandwiches / savoury items offered for the afternoon tea! We really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend

We had a lovely time here my 2 daughters and I. The food and experience were phenomenal including the odd moments of theatre involving fizzy lifting drinks! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience.

Save your money and do not go here for the afternoon tea. We have been to many afternoon teas, and at this price point I expected more! What you see on IG and social media is nothing like the actual experience, and the food is nothing special. The sandwiches were displayed so poorly, and were very basic. The desserts looked good, but were not appetizing! Almost every table around us barely ate their dessert and left it behind when they left. There was a table beside us that left right after the sandwiches came out and were presented - that is how bad it was. As for the decor, when you enter it’s very exciting and well presented, but when you go down the stairs to the actual dinning area it’s just a basic looking restaurant with a bunch of tables squeezed into a small space. This experience is not worth anyone’s time or money!

The most wonderful of times. A legend of a waiter, a lovely atmosphere and the most delicious food. Highly recommend this experience for a special occasion. Loved it.

As others have noted, this is...puzzlingly...a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory afternoon tea that doesn't have any actual chocolate. Chocolate-flavoured tea (or hot chocolate for kids) is as close as it gets. No chocolate fountain, no Wonka bar, not even a single chocolate. As others have also noted, the themed decorations downstairs are sparse enough to rival Glasgow.

Food was excellent, if you were intending to take children for a Charlie & The Chocolate experience, then you should go elsewhere. There is absolutely nothing for children, no chocolate fountains there is nothing magical about it at all, except the food. The ambiance is very plain and boring, nothing what we were expecting. Overall good food, but certainly was NOT a Charlie & The Chocolate Factory establishment.

Not at all as advertised. Quite a drab location in basement of hotel. Staff was very nice after we patiently waited for our courses for over two hours.
