Massively overpriced for what was delivered. Also waiters kept pushing bottled water on us - we said no 3 times until eventually we relented only to find we were charged £7 for the bottle. Having already paid £70 each for two adults and £50 for one child this move seemed very devious. Also the decoration was a massive let down - there was almost no theme to the room bar the food. Would not do it again. Classic London rip off.

My 12 year old son and I immensely enjoyed ourselves at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tea. Our server, Pio, was delightful. Although we didn’t particularly care for the first course of sandwiches, the scones, drinks and sweets were delicious. I highly recommend this experience for anyone with children as well as the kid in all of us!

We had wanted to do this experience for such a long time and sadly we were quite disappointed. The children’s sweet food was too obscure so sadly my girls barely ate anything and they ate not fussy eaters by any means! I think for £195 for the 3 of us it was extremely expensive for what it was. The service was excellent though and I couldn’t fault this.

From the start it was amazing! The greeting was friendly and fun. My daughter loved it and when we got downstairs and she saw all the food her little face lit up. She absolutely loved the candy floss and all the staff were amazing and fun! We will be back!

When looking for an afternoon tea to take our child too we kept coming back to this one. We appreciate it is a bit pricey but wow what an experience! From the moment you walk in it’s magical and the look on a child’s face throughout is priceless and makes it worth every penny. The food was fabulous and copious amounts of top ups upon request! Anything you don’t manage is boxed up for you to take away and enjoy at a later time. Service was excellent with the staff being so attentive and the whole thing is a great experience and definitely a memory that will stick which makes the slightly hefty price tag worth it.

We recently visited the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory afternoon tea, and I must say the experience was quite disappointing. The ambiance was lackluster, failing to capture the whimsical charm I had anticipated. The quality of the food was underwhelming, with several items not living up to the standards expected for such an event. Given the high cost, it’s hard to justify the expense, as the overall experience fell short of expectations.

Alex our waiter was excellent and interacted really nicely with my son. The whole concept is excellent for families but in a stylish setting. The food is excellent and the presentation is pure theatre. We loved it.
