Second time visiting One Aldwych for the Afternoon Tea - and wasn’t disappointed. The food was fantastic as was the service. Pricey but worth it for a very special occasion.

We decided to treat our 5 & 7 year old to their first tea experience and ended up leaving wondering, “was that it?” We were told that we’d learn all about Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and ended up only learning that the cotton candy was bubblegum flavored. We had about five different servers (which all seemed to be getting trained) that were not very attentive and we simply didn’t know what was happening throughout our time there which made the experience not feel like a tea at all. For the price we paid, I do not recommend.

Was a lovely experience good and service was amazing the only down side was the fact that they charge you £7 for a bottle of water that you didn’t ask for.

I would have liked to see more of a willy wonka theme. And some more variety for the price that is charged. Felt quote underwhelmed by the whole experience

The savoury food was delicious and they catered for a pescatarian. The sweets were nice but overly sweet.

Great staff and experience, a bit too sugary for me by the end, but the kids loved it. Definitely worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The overall experience was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful however service was exceptionally slow and we had one person in the party who did not manage to eat the final part of the tea as they had to leave after 1.5 hours. The sandwiches and scones were lovely, the lemon posset was rubbery and a bit of a disappointment.
