This was my first visit to Char Bar No. 7. My friend and I were seated at a high top table in the bar area. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered a ribeye, medium rare, with the field greens salad and tater tots. My friend ordered a filet, medium, with a caesar salad and broccoli. Both steaks were very good and cooked as ordered. The sides were freshly prepared and hot, and the salads were fresh and crisp. There's a short list of wines by the glass, mostly California selections. My friend asked a question about the white wines but the server informed us that she was underage so she could serve the wine but hadn't tried any of it. However, she brought my friend a sample of the one she asked about so she could decide. The restaurant was out of my first choice but the second was available and a good substitute. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. The menu prices are very reasonable, the dining room was pleasant and comfortable, and the service was good. This would be a good choice for a casual date night or friends' night out.

Food was delicious, our waitress Lily was helpful and efficient. Made reservations for lunch on Father’s Day, the hostess initially sat us at a high table in the bar (my wife was wearing a dress and heels)…….the table was not acceptable, this seemed to irritate the hostess who placed us in a cramped corner table still in the bar area surrounded by men just returning from their golf outings and pickleball matches ……Note: as we entered the restaurant I noticed that the main dinning room was not full and there were a number empty tables available …..won’t be back unless someone else is buying……

The meal was great and the server was even greater. She was both conversant and efficient. I look forward to returning!

Server was excellent. We were seated as we arrived and served promptly. Nice night on the porch. Food was very good.

Highly recommend! The food is fabulous with a wide variety to choose from. My husband and I both ordered cocktails, the nacho appetizer, buffalo chicken tacos, and the prime rib French dip. Everything was delish and well seasoned. We were both very pleased with how fast everything went. Our waitress was Roshanda and she was very kind and attentive. The pricing was reasonable and portions are generous. We will definitely be going back!

This will likely be our last visit to CB7. Burger was undercooked, chicken on the salad was overcooked. Just mediocre across the board. Last visit was not great either but we came today to give it another try. It’s a shame because our first 10+ meals here were fantastic. :-(

Terribly slow in the kitchen. We had reservations at 7, but no food appeared until 8. What is the point of reservations when you make customers wait an hour for any food whatever. Not even a damn cracker.

Our server was late in coming over. I had to ask the manager if we had a server. He grunted and said he would check. Once she came over, the service was good. The chip fries had so much salt and seasoning that they were uneatable. The booth we sat in needed to be reupholstered. The booth had tears and rippling, not a good look.

Our first time here. Awesome menu options with creative southern comfort type dishes. Great prices for the value. Service was top notch and no wait for a table.
