I've been here multiple times. Comfortable, good energy, and very good food. Service, like most restaurants, is uneven. You may sit for a while before they even take your drink order. They may ask you how you like your food literally 10 seconds after it was put on the table. That's tolerable, but what I found bothersome is that they brought us our leftovers right away, in an ugly plastic bag, and put it on the table, before we ordered dessert. Can't they wait? I wanted dessert, but we weren't going to end our date night by "enjoying" an expensive dessert next to a plastic grocery bag on our table, so we skipped dessert. This is not enough to dissuade us from visiting again in future. Again, it's good food, good ambience, and I like the live music (piano).

Hostess with a bad attitude Since we had “no preference “. In our profile she automatically tried to sit us at the most undesirable table in the restaurant.

Best NY Strip I’ve ever tasted, and I’m pretty well traveled when it comes to steaks. Service was great and quiet enough to enjoy the food and the company. Will be back soon.

This was our first visit to Char, and it certainly won’t be our last. From the moment we walked in, we were embraced by a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a relaxing and memorable evening. The service here is exceptional—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The staff is eager to make recommendations and ensure every part of your dining experience is perfect. Our server, Lee, stood out with his excellent service and welcoming personality, which made our visit even more enjoyable. With delicious food and such a cozy ambiance, we’ll definitely be back!

Very short wait for our table to be ready. Our server was present, attentive but not intrusive. He was helpful to find a wine for my wife. Drinks arrived promptly. Orders taken and food delivered as ordered. Crab bisque was awesome!! We will return!

I am a huge fan of the lobster bisque when they have it! By far the best I have ever had. However the steak and crab cakes are the reason we always come back for more. You cannot go wrong with this place. The lives music is a wonderful touch. It is where my husband and I had our reception for our wedding, it will always be my favorite date night spot.
