We enjoyed New Year’s Eve dinner with friends. The food & service were great. Michael took very good care of us & was an excellent server.

I wanted a special NYE dinner out to share with my adult children while I was visiting. What a great night! Our server was attentive and kind. Food was amazing. Fun to see some folks dressed up for the evening. Looking forward to bringing my husband next time we visit together

Michael was our server & he did a great job. Service was great & he was attentive. Food was 10/10. Can’t wait to go back!

Stellar. All around. I couldn't be happier with my meal and the experience. I came in during the weird in-between time after lunch but before dinner. I ended up getting fried green tomatoes, a wedge salad, and a filet with Brussels sprouts and the caramelized onion mac 'n cheese. The FGT were super flavorful, perfectly breaded, and accompanied by a very tasty sauce. The wedge was super crisp and had a wonderful balance of toppings. The filet. Oh wow, the filet. I ordered medium and it was perfect, just on the medium-rare side of medium so it was juicy and flavorful. It was literally one of the best I've ever had. The Brussels sprouts were tasty and in a style one would expect from a great steakhouse. Now the mac 'n cheese...the caramelized onions make this side next level; it's probably the best mac 'n cheese I've ever had in a restaurant. Everything was soooo good! I took my desert to go because I couldn't miss out on what I'm sure will be the perfect end to a perfect meal. For as good as the meal was, the service was even better. My server (M'Lynn, I think) was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and communicated with the kitchen to ensure my satisfaction (I originally wanted something from the dinner menu and she asked if they could make it since it was technically before dinner service; she did the same for the table behind me); she just did an amazing job. Did I mention that the entire experience was stellar??

Food & ambience always on point but our waitress Lolly / Lola was not attentive at all. She never came back after taking our entree order to see if we needed anything. No offers for refills on our drinks & I needed another one! :(

It was our Anniversary which I stated in the reservation but it was never asked if it was a special occasion by the hostess or the waitress..why ask when making the reservation when it’s not even acknowledged?..other than that it was another dinner at Char..the food was good
