    I’d like to provide some constructive feedback regarding my recent experience. Unfortunately, the quality of the food seems to be declining. For instance, my steak took over two hours to arrive and was served cold. While our server was courteous and did her best, it appears that the kitchen may need additional training or more staff to manage high volumes effectively. Several patrons, including myself, were disappointed by the overall experience.

    Last Saturday night,had reservations, seated promptly, but…took an hour and a half to get a couples hamburgers. Food was cold. Definitely kitchen problems, as there were plenty of servers wandering around waiting for the orders to come up. Party next to us ordered a $50+ steak, waited an hour and it was served cold. He was not happy! Definitely not in a hurry to go back. Seems to have turned into more of a drinking hole. Bar was packed, and noisy. Too bad, because the food concept is actually pretty good.

    Chaplin was great! My wife and I shared 5 small plates: Roasted Beets, Shrimp Cocktail, Charred Octopus, Poached Lobster Risotto, and Lamb Lollipops. Everything was delicious. We also had a couple of Manhattans, and finished off with an Espresso Martini and Crème Brûlée for dessert. We decided to eat at the beautiful bar, and the bartender’s were lovely. Overall a great experience!

    I understand it’s Valentine’s Day, and it was busier than usual. But we waited 45 min for a table, then another 30 for apps and in an hour and a half we were never served our dinner. While they comped the rest of our meal, we left without eating. It was the worst experience I’ve had. Ever.

    Made reservations for valentines day. They overbooked, waited 35 min and we still did not get checked in. We ended up leaving due to overcrowding in the entry way. People were getting upset with the lack of custo.er service or acknowledgement.

    It was Valentine’s Day, I can understand that it was very busy. We waited 55 minutes for our food. The apps came right out. The drinks were good. I ordered the 8oz sirloin, medium. It came out rare, I sent it back and they brought it back the same way. The steak was taken off the bill and we had a round of drinks on the house.

    It’s always great coming here. This place never disappoints. Food & drinks were delicious as always. They changed the menu just a tad since I last came. That was my only let down. I miss my charred octopus as an entree not appetizer. Also the chicken didn’t have cherry peppers anymore. Besides that everything was great!

    Service was above and beyond. We had lobster risotto, linguine with clams,steak and crème brûlée. Everything was parented beautifully and tasted great.
