We would like to invite you to enjoy dinner in little Europe. Our restaurant is fully family-owned. You will meet the grandma who's cooking everyday at the restaurant, you will enjoy our freshly baked bread and delicious food!
The Chanta family invites you to our home, where we will offer you authentic European food, hospitality and warmth! We started our restaurant business in Romania, over 8 years ago and we have three restaurants there. This is our first restaurant in the States, which opened in June 2020. We highly recommend the lamb chops specialty and all the homemade breads we have. The restaurant is beautifully designed for a cozy, intimate dinner. Enjoy your journey!

Great unique experience. I much prefer smaller, independent family operated restaurants and this has become one of my favorites. We were seated and greeted nicely. Appetizer - mussels. Entree - totally unpronounceable special (Plzcjavica?). Lots of consonants not many vowels. If I could buy a dish of the tomato sauce and drink it, I would. Wine recommendation - Arrogance, Romanian white for Chardonnay/Chablis lovers. Not available for retail. I was thoroughly satisfied with dinner. Our server was outstanding, friendly and professional. He made some very good recommendations. I look forward to our next visit to Chanta.

Good food and ambience. Sarmale, bread outstanding but the mititei are not traditional, they need to change the recipe. Overall a good restaurant.

Perfection! Perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, service wonderful! Noise level wonderful …you can actually hear the people at your table unlike many restaurants that are so noisy you can’t hear yourself think ….just always able to count on the best!

The food was outstanding. But the part we really enjoyed was the unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Even servers that were not ours checked in to see how we liked what we were dining on and offered their favorites for a next visit.

What a freaking Gem!!!! A truly exceptional restaurant, plating authentic European dishes that are both comfort and rich, yet elegant. The charming atmosphere, friendly & knowledgeable staff (I let them pick out their favorites for me and they nailed it!), then seeing the Grandma come out to greet people was the cherry on top! I sat at the bar, where the bartender paired a beautiful Cabernet with my appetizer and made friends with some regulars that sat next to me. Perfect for a special occasion, date night, or like me…sit at the bar with a glass of wine, delicious food and soak up the atmosphere!
