Distinctive Culinary Cuisine on Chincoteague Island!

Freshly sourced seasonal ingredients are the core of our culinary creations, where classic techniques meet modern influences in our French American cooking style. Chincoteague Island’s only all-inclusive inn and
restaurant features fresh caught seafood, prime cuts of meat, and weekly chef’s specials served in an intimate ambience found nowhere else on the island.

We invite you to indulge, relax and experience the magic of our prix fixe menus designed for our guests who love great food as much as we do.

Breakfasts are open daily by reservation only from 9am to 10am.

Afternoon Teas are available 2pm to 330pm, Thursday and Saturday.

Dinners are available featuring the most elegant dining on the island available 5pm to 7pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

We are a proud recipient of the Opentable 2022 and 2023 Diner's Choice Award, chosen by our guests!

Tea was wonderful! Food was excellent, very tasty and served very attractively. Price was good. Service was excellent and parking nearby, made this a special treat.

Our compliments to the chef(s) and to Ken who is the perfect host. Channel Bass Inn is not what you would expect in a small town. Everything from the atmosphere to the 5-course meal was perfect for our 53rd wedding anniversary. There is only one word to describe Channel Bass Inn - OUTSTANDING!

We went there with six people to celebrate a major birthday. The food was excellent and a good value. The waiter took excellent care of us. The location was charming.

A 5 course meal of thoughtfully put together tastes. Familiar foods with a slightly different take. The scallop sauce on the sea bass was exceptional! Service was superb. It was particularly helpful that all food is fresh prepared as I have food allergies. No hidden surprises!

The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was friendly. The selection of teas were thoughtful with special teas both hot and iced. The food was delicious! The pastry chef created special treats to match the season. This was our first time here and we will be back. Overall a great experience!

We had an exquisite dinning experience. We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary.The surroundings were lovely & the pianist was amazing. Our 5 course dinner delicious & well worth the price. We would highly recommend the Channel Bass Inn to our friend & family
