Freshly sourced seasonal ingredients are the core of our culinary creations, where classic techniques meet modern influences in our French American cooking style. Chincoteague Island’s only all-inclusive inn and
restaurant features fresh caught seafood, prime cuts of meat, and weekly chef’s specials served in an intimate ambience found nowhere else on the island.

We invite you to indulge, relax and experience the magic of our prix fixe menus designed for our guests who love great food as much as we do.

Breakfasts are open daily by reservation only from 9am to 10am.

Afternoon Teas are available 2pm to 330pm, Thursday and Saturday.

Dinners are available featuring the most elegant dining on the island available 5pm to 7pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

Our third time there for dinner. Absolutely the best value for a five-course dinner. The food is outstanding, fresh and well-prepared. Th appetizer was a filler-less crabcake and a shrimp cocktail, both seasoned just right.My main entree was a pork ribeye served with a wine sauce reduction. Flavorful , tender and moist. My wife had the Altantic Salmon which she really enjoyed. Dessert was a pistachio cake and coffee for a great finish. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. We already have our next reservation in place!

The food is always amazing that Channel Bass Inn. Everything is fresh and piping hot. The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and wines.

Lovely place for dinner and enjoyed the piano music. However, we were dining with 3 girls ages 8-11 and it was not lively enough for them. Staff went out of their way to make their experience great. My fault for not checking on this thoroughly.

Always a great experience at the Channel Bass. We had 2-8 years old girls which I noted in my reservation when scheduling our night out. The chef and staff accompanied their needs with chicken fingers, Mac and cheese and apple sauce. They also made a small salad and appetizers for each child. Our waitstaff, Doug and Ken were amazing, as always.

It’s a fixed menu and only two selections for entrees, no selections for sides, appetizers or deserts. The best part was the service and piano player.

The waiter, Doug was outstanding in every respect! The food is unparalleled on Chincoteague Island. Chefs are very exacting in preparation, presentation, and creativity.
