Freshly sourced seasonal ingredients are the core of our culinary creations, where classic techniques meet modern influences in our French American cooking style. Chincoteague Island’s only all-inclusive inn and
restaurant features fresh caught seafood, prime cuts of meat, and weekly chef’s specials served in an intimate ambience found nowhere else on the island.

We invite you to indulge, relax and experience the magic of our prix fixe menus designed for our guests who love great food as much as we do.

Breakfasts are open daily by reservation only from 9am to 10am.

Afternoon Teas are available 2pm to 330pm, Thursday and Saturday.

Dinners are available featuring the most elegant dining on the island available 5pm to 7pm, Sunday to Wednesday.

We had an exquisite dinning experience. We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary.The surroundings were lovely & the pianist was amazing. Our 5 course dinner delicious & well worth the price. We would highly recommend the Channel Bass Inn to our friend & family

Always a great experience at the Channel Bass Inn restaurant. The food is always amazing. Services is always exceptional. The staff is amazing.

Service could not have been better. Food portions were perfect, meat was cook perfectly, but a little chewy for the cut that was ordered. Great overall experience.

As usual, the whole experience was superb. We also enjoyed the added enjoyment of the piano on Tuesday evening. The menu selections were very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity and prepared expertly.

Waiter Ken was fantastic. 5 Stars. Food was basic and entree was worst we experienced in a long time anywhere. It was warm, burned and spoiled the whole experience. We did not say anything to Ken but probably should have. Stay away from the Mahi-mahi. Coffee, I know it is small, was also bad from a thermos. Not the way to end an advertised five course meal. The dining room was worn out --- looked like 1990's decor. Needs a lot of work. As much as we liked Ken and endorse him as superb, the food was so disappointing. We do not plan to go back. There are so many better restaurants to choose from in Chincoteague. Suppose there's a reason they are packed, and the Channel Bass Inn only had 8 customers including us.

Lovely experience… I love historic buildings with a story and this was so quaint. Food was tasty and service was lovely. They had a piano player which was such a nice touch. People staying at the INN do traipse through the dining room which was off-putting.

One of my favorite places to dine on Chincoteague. I am never disappointed or walking away hungry. The afternoon teas are always fun with my friends. This month the corn chowder was incredible. From the first bite my taste buds were throwing a party in my mouth. I can't wait to go back in the fall to celebrate more friends birthdays.

My daughter and I went for my Bday.... the Food was awsome. The Bisque Mais Dere - soup, was absolutely delicious, I am not a corn fan in soup, but i would have this soup again. The little sanwichiches. The Tartine De Chevre Chaud Au Meil - was outstanding, The Scones were perferct with the the whipped cream. Each desert was delicious with james, butter and whipped cream. I had the Berry Cobble blend - tea. There was no dissappointment with the food or tea. The food was quite filling and could not finish, and took a little to go box to enjoy later. The menu changes each month and recommend this place. The staff were proffessional and knowledgeable

We had the best experience! The food was delicious and both servers were very friendly and attentive. My 8 year old daughter loved the tea service and requested that we make it part of your next trip to the island. Just exceptional!!!
