Booked to watch the AJ fight whilst we was in town, when we got there we were charged £8 pp to get into the venue. This was not advertised or told to customers until entry, this was frustrating as we then didn’t have time to find a different venue. Bar was so busy it took over 30 mins to get served. However the host was very friendly and accommodating to us wanting to sit inside rather than outside due to the weather.

Doorman was very rude on walk up to the location even making my partner feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as if there is a god given right for just guys to watch the football.

Booked a table for 7.15pm for x4 people for the Champions League Final, but on arrival it was clear we were never going to get this table. Understandably the venue was packed, but there was absolutely no system in place for prior table bookings so all table were taken. To make matters worse, we queued at the (almost stationary) bar for close to 50 minutes without being served. We had to ditch the night completely and head to a nearby friends to catch the game. Terrible experience!

Arrived for my booking, specifically a booth with tv. Senior staff member told us people were already in all the booths, and despite our booking refused to remove people from our booked spot who can’t have booked themselves as it was available for me to book.he was obviously just scared to raise the issue. Joke of a venue with childish staff. Ended up going elsewhere.

Don't bother booking a table. They will not reserve one for you and it is down to luck whether you get one. If you manage to get a table it's a great spot to watch a game.

Good beers, staff were helpful putting commentary etc on for us on different screens. Good pub to watch the football

I booked a table for 8 to have lunch and drinks before the last Sheff United game of the season, thinking it would be busy. I can't find words to describe how shocking this experience was. We are regulars, going here most home games. Normally, its ok, reasonable food, reasonable service. However on this day, the place was busy, there were two staff on the bar, one of which was also trying to serve food. The beer pump pressure was a third of normal, so it was taking ages to pour a drink. My mate had waited 35 minutes for service, food was a non starter as the service was so bad. Ruined what should have been a great lunch. Everybody was getting really annoyed and leaving. We had to go elsewhere to find food and drink. The place must have lost literally thousands in revenue. Whoever is the manager in charge should be sacked.

delicious cheap food for students with great vibes. staff couldn’t care less and it seems an inconvenience if you were to want to order anything but other than that couldn’t fault it
