This was my second time going to Chama Gaucha, first time was a great experience 5 star. Yesterday was far from 5 star, I understand it is close to the holidays and they are very busy but the service provided was poor. I brought in a group of employees to celebrate the holidays, we were taken to our table and no one came for about 10 mins other than bringing us water. when our waitress finally came, I asked for menus because we didn't have any she brought 1 for a table of 8. I asked for a drink and mentioned everyone will order tier own drink she then left for about 5 minutes without taking everyone else order. she came back and I mentioned they needed to order, finally she took the order and left. No one ever asked us if we were ready to start eating or even greeted us or made suggestions. I took it upon myself to tell my team to get up and help themselves to the salad bar. We finished our delicious salads, colt cuts and veggies and started with the meat experience. This was the best part of the dinner experience but unfortunately it took them just over 30 minutes to bring our drinks to the table. From when we sat down at 7:15pm we did not receive drinks until about 8pm! Again, totally understand the holiday rush but 30-45 mins for a drink is a bit much. No one ever came to say sorry for the delay or anything. overall It will be a bit before I can recommend or go back.
