Cha Ching is an Asian fusion concept restaurant where customer enjoys variety of Asian dishes on a table with Asian spiced drinks and cocktail for an affordable per dinner and lunch.
Synonymous with luck in Chinese culture, Cha Ching is a project three years in the making, from Owner & Head Chef Ken Leung.
From working in Hong Kong’s Michelin Star St George Restaurant in 2012 to experience in kitchens across Melbourne’s elite food scene, Ken’s hospitality experience spans over 15 years.
The result? Cha Ching’s menu is an homage to Asian cuisine, emboldened by the multiculturalism of Melbourne.

The food and drinks were great, the Korean fried chicken was delicious. Karmen our waitress was lovely always checking and making sure we had eyewear needed.

Great food. Service could have been better. Sat for 30 mins before being offered water or a drink. Rest of the experience was fabulous though so I’ll forgive them and go again.

Food was excellent, our booked table was taken and we had to wait at bar. No offer of drink while we waited, would happily have ordered one to have as we were celebrating. Even when we were finally seated we had to eventually flag someone down to ask for a drink. Same with food order. Food was wonderful, everything else could do with improvement.

The service was poor. Our mains came out before entree. Even entree we got given incorrect food. Originally we ordered dumplings however were given dim sims, did not realise until people next to us had dumplings. Essential we ended up paying more than what we originally wanted. Place is loud and overhyped

Food was 10/10. Would recommend to all friends in fact took photos and sent to them telling them they had to try! Cocktails were an experience in that they were interesting but a bit too sweet not enough alcohol for me.

Took 30 mins to even take our order. We were there for nearly 50 mins before we got any drinks or food. Most of our order was forgotten and we had to ask for food, drinks and napkins multiple times. Food was good. Service not so much.

We had the banquet and the food was delicious and plentiful . The cocktails were impressive and theatrical! As a family group of 8 it was great to have the children accommodated so well on a busy Friday evening. My only feedback is that the dishes came out so fast it was a little overwhelming…but we got through it all as it was so tasty! Will definitely dine at Cha Ching again!
