Ive been wanting to visit this establishment for a long while now and was finally able to go. I had booked the reservation for date night and it was the night of their 4 year anniversary. They had a special anniversary menu that night being select drinks and handrolls were $4. I had expected a fuller house but since it was Monday on their site says they are closed so maybe that was why it didn’t seem super busy and a lot of staff were present yet, there were still plenty of people there. We took advantage of the special and ordered a Chicago handshake, sake and did about 2 rounds of an assortment of the 5 selected handrolls offered . The quality was good and I expected that also handrolls are more simple. The servers were pretty quick and observant. While this was lovely, I did feel rushed as soon as I finished a handroll or even tried taking my time. My fiancé and I weren’t able to quite enjoy our conversations with the constant “can I get you something else”. We tried to really enjoy our time out and enjoy the ambiance at this restaurant but felt that we were expected to leave. Overall I would go here again and recommend this restaurant to others not to sure it’s perfect for a date night but nonetheless, my fiancé was impressed with going to the backroom as the first impressions was that it was a loud bar upfront. The transition to the restaurant was nice.

They were celebrating their 4th Anniversary and there were great deals on sushi. Everything was so good and so fresh. Their drinks are also quite good! I’d go back even at register prices it is so good.

Our party sat at the sushi counter for the 19 course Omakase experience. The food and service were wonderful as was the conversation with the chef.

What an incredible omakase experience! We had the best time and the food was amazing. Highly recommend. Sake pairing was great too. Took teenage boys for their first experience and they loved it.

Great service, great food, great drinks! Our server made some great nigiri selections for us to pair with our rolls, as well as tons of knowledge and suggestions on the drinks based on our tastes. Made our work holiday dinner a huge success!
