The quality of the food is the reason you come here! Sadly, in order for a restaurant of this caliber to survive in this market, makes the meal a little pricey, but I still highly recommend it. This is not the place for a romantic meal, in my opinion, because the noise level is fairly boisterous, but it is a great high energy date spot. 😍

The food was very good. I’ve had it great before. Last night was good. Our pastas were delicious. Mine had sausage which I didn’t care for as it was over cooked with tiny crumbles. Loved the Octopus appetizer and the prosciutto, mozzarella and cantaloupe salad. The swordfish carpaccio was terrible and fishy. Not a fan. Our waitress was very delightful and service was excellent. We brought our own bottle of wine.

This is genuinely one of my must go to restaurants in San Diego. I have had a fantastic experience every time I have gone. Excellent food, amazing quality, kind service, and beautiful ambiance. Everyone I have taken here loves it! Today specifically, I had a stressful day with delayed flights and the restaurant was so accommodating and honored their 15 minute grace period policy. I was so thankful and had the most amazing dinner! Additionally, they made my birthday dinner special with a very special and allergy free desert!

This was our second visit to Cesarina, but our first visit during lunch with guests, which was also their first experience at the restaurant. We brought them to celebrate a birthday and were impressed with the service we received during our first visit. The food was exceptional. It is difficult to select a favorite dish because everything is so flavorful, well-crafted, and delicious. However, our service during this visit was not ideal. Despite this experience, my family and I would likely visit Cesarina again. We have also suggested to our guests that they return for another visit for a date night to enhance their overall experience.
