We specifically went for Prime Rib Special night. Arrived 30 minutes early to have a drink at the bar where David, bartender, was very pleasant and helpful in choosing our wine. Then to the dining room where it was filling up fast. We both ordered medium prime rib dinners and cooked perfectly. Comes with mashed, green beans, carrots, and a popover. Our server was pleasant just never came back to see if everything was ok. Thankfully it was. It was quite busy and noisy. A little too loud for me but the meal was delicious and that won’t stop us from going back. Hope they continue this prime rib night before it is definitely worth the trip for the price of $26.95!

As always, the food was fabulous. The service was extraordinary. Been going to the century house for many many many many years. I was married there and use both of their reception rooms for my wedding and it was just fabulous. Couldn’t recommend them higher.

Prime rib was not tender, but stringy. I had French Onion Soup which was good. Talia our waitress was fantastic. Temperature control was very chilly. Had to get phone out for my flashlight to read menu and our bill. Lightning was very dark. Chairs were creaking and didn’t feel like they were very supportive.

Claudia was an excellent waitress. We haven't been here in many years. After our experience today we will have to come back

Their dinner for 2 (Saturday night special) is an amazing deal. Everything we ordered was amazing.

This restaurant is a huge factor in my selection of the Century Hotel, when I travel to NH. I dislike modern restaurants - too noisy and of them are the same - exposed beams and pipes, bland grey, etc. This place has food and atmosphere - love the tavern.

A truly wonderful dining experience. Delicious food. Greatly appreciate the efforts to ensure gluten free options available. 5-stars to the server who recognized that part of the meal would contain gluten (stuffed shrimp) and informed us the kitchen would substitute grilled shrimp. Love the attention to detail and knowledge of offerings.

The century House remains a longtime favorite. Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening there last night. We enjoyed a drink at the bar, which is always a warm and popular gathering place. The waitress for our table was fantastic and I am sorry to say that I do not remember her name. If she is reading this, we were the party of six friends (having a great time) seated in middle of the dining room. Thank you for providing such wonderful service. We delved into the basket of rolls, which were fresh, warm and absolutely delicious. Three friends had the prime rib, which the Century House is known for. They all raved about their meals and said the meat was cooked to perfection. One friend enjoyed surf and turf, my husband loved his steak sandwich and I enjoyed my lobster tail, which is always good. One thing one friend and I lamented on was that the restaurant used to offer the best baked potato. Their fries and mashed potatoes are very good but baked is our favorite and we miss that option. It’s a minor quibble and certainly won’t keep us from returning. We look forward to our next time.
