Le Centrolina est un restaurant italien doté d'une épicerie, détenu et géré localement par le chef Amy Brandwein, situé dans le nouveau bâtiment du CityCenterDC à Washington. L'Osteria sert un menu de saison qui change tous les jours composé de plats italiens authentiques et innovants proposés chaque jour pour le dîner et le souper. Le menu du chef Brandwein est inspiré des produits italiens régionaux et saisonniers et de la grande variété de produits que le chef sélectionne dans l'épicerie voisine. L'épicerie compte un choix de spécialités italiennes importées ainsi que de la viande d'origine locale, du poisson issu de la pêche durable, ainsi que des produits provenant de fermes locales. Le Centrolina prépare chaque jour des pâtes et des sauces fraîches et artisanales, des antipasti et des plats de résistance à emporter. La boulangerie du Centrolina dispose d'une gamme de biscotti, crostata et gâteaux qui changent chaque jour. Vous y dégusterez aussi du pain d'origine locale confectionné au Bread Furst et bénéficierez d'un bar Barista à service complet servant du café Vigilante.

Join us on October 30th at 7:00pm for Pasta Fresca! @Chefamybdc and her team will be making fresh pasta live and creating a 7 course tasting pasta menu. This is a pasta only tasting menu, and everything from appetizer to dessert will be pasta. This is an interactive experience, where pasta will be made in front of our guests and cooked immediately. It does not get fresher than that! $125 per person, drinks and gratuity excluded.

We sat at the bar for dinner and loved everything we ate. Also, our server, Sergei, made our night great. He made great recommendations and was wonderful to us. Centrolina is lucky to have him.

We love coming to Centrolina! Food was excellent. We started with Fritto Misto and the breads, fantastic! Had the buckwheat pasta with tuna crudo that was perfect. Spicy, fresh and full of flavor. Swordfish was excellent with side of zucchini and cherry tomatoes. Dessert was a carrot panna cotta. Great service and lovely, lively atmosphere.

A wonderful experience, as always. Andrea was a great server, and the meal was outstanding. Even when we accidentally left our leftovers at the table, they were kind enough to send a text.

What a great find. Googling restaurants and this restaurant popped up. Very understated restaurant, very simple atmosphere. The food , service, and wine was exceptional. Super delicious. So delicious we came back the next day to have lunch at the sister casual restaurant Piccolina. Amazing!!!

Ridiculously small portions, fishy seafood (which the server asked about, then did and said nothing when we mentioned it was fishy), and an unexplainable refusal to make kids pasta dishes with anything other than long noodles, including the bowtie pasta that was on the menu, and that anyone with children knows is much easier to eat/ feed. Disappointing in multiple ways. We will not be coming back.

A very good restaurant overall. Tasty and diverse menu offerings. And excellent cocktails. And friendly service staff. …The portions are on the smaller side, and have decreased over the years—unfortunately. And given the priciness (average entree costs about $40; average cocktail, about $20), I’m not certain the meal is worth the cost. And there’s a 5% service charge—NOT to be confused with a “gratuity.” Bummer. “Service charges” are a dealbreaker for me. And, I’m likely to dine less frequently at the restaurant as a result. Even though the food is delicious.

Honestly - this is simply a perfect restaurant. Beautifully lit, amazing food - every single time, beautiful bar, reasonable prices on wine and happy, happy staff.

We always love Centrolina. I had the steelhead trout with Napa cabbage, honey miso, and apple agrodolce. It was AMAZING!

Enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. Our water was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. Food and wine were excellent!
