Le Centrolina est un restaurant italien doté d'une épicerie, détenu et géré localement par le chef Amy Brandwein, situé dans le nouveau bâtiment du CityCenterDC à Washington. L'Osteria sert un menu de saison qui change tous les jours composé de plats italiens authentiques et innovants proposés chaque jour pour le dîner et le souper. Le menu du chef Brandwein est inspiré des produits italiens régionaux et saisonniers et de la grande variété de produits que le chef sélectionne dans l'épicerie voisine. L'épicerie compte un choix de spécialités italiennes importées ainsi que de la viande d'origine locale, du poisson issu de la pêche durable, ainsi que des produits provenant de fermes locales. Le Centrolina prépare chaque jour des pâtes et des sauces fraîches et artisanales, des antipasti et des plats de résistance à emporter. La boulangerie du Centrolina dispose d'une gamme de biscotti, crostata et gâteaux qui changent chaque jour. Vous y dégusterez aussi du pain d'origine locale confectionné au Bread Furst et bénéficierez d'un bar Barista à service complet servant du café Vigilante.

Près de dix ans après sa création, cette osteria raffinée et étoilée au guide Michelin continue d'être une adresse de choix. Son ambiance décontractée et les pâtes maison de la cheffe Amy Brandwein privilégiant les ingrédients de saison de la région du Mid-Atlantic en font un lieu très prisé.     I love Centrolina and have dined there on and off for years. I had not encountered this previously - our waiter seemed like he had something more important to do. I was trying to inquire about an antipasti, which he was not interested in responding to. I did not feel like he was listening to my question, but answering what he thought was the question - after 2 attempts, I ordered something I was sure of. I love Centrolina and the delicious, creative menu, but that server needs a bit more of a welcoming charm if this is his career of choice. This will not keep me from recommending or coming back.

    We've been to Centrolina for dinner multiple times, but this was our first lunch visit, and we were very pleased. Service was just as good as we've come to expect, they had multiple vegetarian pasta options, and several zero-proof drinks perfect for lunchtime.

    Superb pasta and creative Italian cuisine, a limited but well thought out wine list, and good but not exceptional service. Overall, highly recommended. One of my favorite DC restaurants—consistently reliable.

    My husband’s duck was cooked to perfection. The raviolini with crab was delicious. For appetizers we ordered the tuna crudo and the tomato/watermelon salad, both outstanding. Get the panna cotta for dessert!

    We went for a work lunch at 12:15. We arrived 5 minutes early and was seated as soon as we arrived. We waited a few for the sever to come and address us but nothing that would disrupt our experience. Once we placed our order, our food came out pretty quickly and it was hot, fresh, and tasty. Our server was perfect, she didn’t over or under serve. One thing I appreciate is how quickly the check came. She understood that we were in and out for lunch and didn’t have much time to waste. I would recommend Centrolina at City Center to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food.

    We love Centrolina-- wonderful food and great service. It's one of our go-to places. Always a great meal - and our server was fabulous.

    Our waiter Goran was excellent! The food was very good but the portions were small. The table was marked up and needs to be fixed or replaced. Food prices were unreasonably high. When I compared several wine prices to what I can find in DC wine store I noticed Centrolina is marking up 400-600%! :( I guess, I will have to pay $50 corkage fee and bring my own...disappointing!

    I had wanted to go to Centrolina for a very long time and we finally went on Friday night! Everything about it was wonderful from start to finish. We had a great server, we loved our food and wine, and the atmosphere was lively but we could still have an easy conversation.
