Le Centrolina est un restaurant italien doté d'une épicerie, détenu et géré localement par le chef Amy Brandwein, situé dans le nouveau bâtiment du CityCenterDC à Washington. L'Osteria sert un menu de saison qui change tous les jours composé de plats italiens authentiques et innovants proposés chaque jour pour le dîner et le souper. Le menu du chef Brandwein est inspiré des produits italiens régionaux et saisonniers et de la grande variété de produits que le chef sélectionne dans l'épicerie voisine. L'épicerie compte un choix de spécialités italiennes importées ainsi que de la viande d'origine locale, du poisson issu de la pêche durable, ainsi que des produits provenant de fermes locales. Le Centrolina prépare chaque jour des pâtes et des sauces fraîches et artisanales, des antipasti et des plats de résistance à emporter. La boulangerie du Centrolina dispose d'une gamme de biscotti, crostata et gâteaux qui changent chaque jour. Vous y dégusterez aussi du pain d'origine locale confectionné au Bread Furst et bénéficierez d'un bar Barista à service complet servant du café Vigilante.

Join us on October 30th at 7:00pm for Pasta Fresca! @Chefamybdc and her team will be making fresh pasta live and creating a 7 course tasting pasta menu. This is a pasta only tasting menu, and everything from appetizer to dessert will be pasta. This is an interactive experience, where pasta will be made in front of our guests and cooked immediately. It does not get fresher than that! $125 per person, drinks and gratuity excluded.

The food was good but not up to the standards we expect for a highly rated restaurant. Disappointing to have pasta choices with no meat choices. Service was ok but nothing special. Cocktails and wine were good.

It started off well. The starters (tuna, cauliflower, mushroom) were good. However, the main dishes were poor. The meals —salmon not well seasoned. Autumn Olive Meat was very chewy. Also, the timing between the starters and the entrée was LONG— over an hour!! This was our fourth time at the restaurant and we had never been disappointed prior to this visit. 😩 Bright side: The pasta was good. The deserts were good and were comped. Overall, we would have loved to have the same experience that we had in prior visits, especially as we were celebrating a milestone birthday.

Some dishes stellar, some pedestrian. Carpet is gross and needs to be replaced. Had already run out of several dinner items from the menu by the time we showed up (7:45 pm)

The food and its sources are outstanding. The service is impeccable. The menu is so creative. Brought some friends from out of town and they were blown away.

Centrolina never disappoints. I lived in Italy for five years, and I know that whatever I order there will be spot on. Today was a birthday celebration, and they surprised me with a delicious dessert. An exceptional experience all around.

Andrea was fantastic! Great recommendation for the trout and carrot dessert. Verde salad is a must. Can’t wait to go back.

Overall great experience. It was a beautiful night and we sat outside. Our mains were great but the Caesar salad left a bit to be desired.

Took 45 minutes for our first drinks to arrive. Food was decent (maybe). No excitement, no joy. Just food. You can taste that the fish was frozen. Service is extremely slow. Expensive.

We sat at the bar for dinner and loved everything we ate. Also, our server, Sergei, made our night great. He made great recommendations and was wonderful to us. Centrolina is lucky to have him.
