Le Centrolina est un restaurant italien doté d'une épicerie, détenu et géré localement par le chef Amy Brandwein, situé dans le nouveau bâtiment du CityCenterDC à Washington. L'Osteria sert un menu de saison qui change tous les jours composé de plats italiens authentiques et innovants proposés chaque jour pour le dîner et le souper. Le menu du chef Brandwein est inspiré des produits italiens régionaux et saisonniers et de la grande variété de produits que le chef sélectionne dans l'épicerie voisine. L'épicerie compte un choix de spécialités italiennes importées ainsi que de la viande d'origine locale, du poisson issu de la pêche durable, ainsi que des produits provenant de fermes locales. Le Centrolina prépare chaque jour des pâtes et des sauces fraîches et artisanales, des antipasti et des plats de résistance à emporter. La boulangerie du Centrolina dispose d'une gamme de biscotti, crostata et gâteaux qui changent chaque jour. Vous y dégusterez aussi du pain d'origine locale confectionné au Bread Furst et bénéficierez d'un bar Barista à service complet servant du café Vigilante.

Près de dix ans après sa création, cette osteria raffinée et étoilée au guide Michelin continue d'être une adresse de choix. Son ambiance décontractée et les pâtes maison de la cheffe Amy Brandwein privilégiant les ingrédients de saison de la région du Mid-Atlantic en font un lieu très prisé. Vidal did a terrific job. Excellent verde salad—the egg is the best. Salmon was perfectly cooked and served. The entire Centrolina team deserves high praise.

The food was wonderful. Polpo and duck were both delicious. But we waited forever for the appetizers, the wine service of own bottle was amateurish, and the noise level was so high we had to scream and could not have a conversation across the table. We were so burned out from having dinner we didn’t even consider getting dessert. They also were out of the seafood pasta at 7 pm on Saturday night. This place has gone way downhill since my last visit.

You can always count on Chef Brandwein and her team. Another EXCELLENT meal at Centrolina. Watermelon gazpacho was so refreshing. Rabbit with carrots was exceptional. Carrots were the star of the dish. And the duck breast was the best . . . ever. The Crostata Al Cioccolato was the perfect ending and my favorite dessert in years - at Centrolina and everywhere else. Service was excellent. Our server covered alot of tables but made us feel like we were the only patrons that evening. Only room for improvement: the bar. We received two different wines by the glass that were almost vinegar. But they handled it and did so with grace. Thank you Chef Brandwein and team!

It was our first time at centrolina what a fantastic dinner! Our server Ali was spectacular he helped my wife navigate the menu and also tweaked a few dishes so they would work for my very picked wife. Can't wait to go back!

By far, one of the best restaurants in DC. Great service, wine, food, everything. Perfect for friends, dates, business dinners or if you’re trying to impress.

Ambience was great. Menu is very limited and overpriced. Food is outstanding despite small portions. Service a little slow given all the empty tables around and high staff ratio.
